Yes, we are. But I think it's a substantial minority. I have no problem finding them (except on NCL now, I guess).

No nuts either! I'm back to the bench on Thursday and will get it for you - I'm still new so don't have it memorized (only four weeks of part-time work down). Baking wouldn't pay my bills no matter how much I wish I could do it for forty!

Speaking of which, it seems NCL only does chocolate chip (both dark and white) for free...or, at least those are the only ones I've found.  They have others in Cocos, The Bake Shop and Dolce Gelato...they charge for those, however.

The Club Balcony plate we received last month had 4 cookies - and 4 varieties.

oh, gosh, as i've said in other threads, maybe even this thread, despite the screen name, i am born and bred in the united states and i live in new york. i am as american as they come. in fact, i would have responded sooner, but my mouth was full of apple pie and my hands were busy sewing an american flag, you know, like my fellow american, betsy ross.

 

as for insults, i think you may have that turned around. i see so much rude behavior in this forum that i simply won't tolerate it. i put those folks on "ignore." and that makes reading a thread like this a pleasure... and a chore... like reading swiss cheese.

Found some in a kiosk outside of CoCos but n the Indulge food area on the Prima a couple of weeks ago!  Granted, they were chocolate chip.  But they were always there!

 

But, there was also some other freshly made deserts in the kiosk that I preferred over the cookies.  Matter of fact, the cookies were pretty far down the list compared to the other deserts available!

 

I’m having a hard time understanding the broohahah about finding cookies.  I love me some cookies.  But, I’d much rather bring some oreos in my carry on than go searching for cookies on ANY cruise line!

 

There are plenty of other much better desert options on board!

I only know Insomnia because of my daughter from when she was in college.

Personally, I like my chocolate chip cookies and fudge brownies to be separate. Lol!

Just last night I ate a sleeve of 7 Tates chocolate chip cookies and they were delicious.

I'm usually a soft chocolate chip cookie guy, but those Tates are yummy!

On the Getaway TA in October, we had cookies. I noticed what I would call "cookie hogs". People who would fill up their plates w/cookies. It got so bad that they were doling out one type of cookie (I forget which one). I asked for 2  cookies and a guy with a plateful behind me  said are you sure you only want two.  .  Maybe hoarding of cookies is the reason they have stopped having them on the buffet.

There are a LOT of things on the ship I’ll pass on that cost way more than the cookies. 🤣 If you’re packing homemades, I’m packing Golden Oreos with double stuff, Keebler Coconut Dreams, and 3-4 different types of Pepperidge Farms. I’ll need a new carry-on!!! 🎉

Go get a brownie.  Go get some chocolate ganache.  Go get some crepes.  Cruise ships have dozens of food types in a wealth of venues all over the ship.  I can't for the life of me understand the uproar over anyone not being able to find cookies...or even hash browns for that matter.  There are all sorts of potato dishes available on a cruise ship.  Go get some of those..shred and smash them flat.  Voila!  Home made hash browns.

 

I think I'm going to start packing Pepperidge Farm cookies in my luggage and sell them out of my cabin.  Sounds like a good business model to me. 😉

I can't speak for the buffet because I never thought to look for cookies there.  But they do have white chocolate macadamia nut cookies in the solo lounge and the casino

I've seen white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, and chocolate chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon snack/grill areas. My last cruise was on the Dawn in December, don't remember if I ever looked for them on that cruise.
