It really seems like they learned some lessons/tweaks from the Venezia and updated the Firenze accordingly. 

1) The name on the upper deck under the funnel was actually updated to "Carnival Firenze" - minor item but shows they spent more time converting this ship from Cost to "Carnival". On the Venezia, it's just "Venezia" and they removed "Costa". 

2) More grab & go food options on board (Fresh Creations, Wings, Emanada & Pie station)

3) Waiting to see if they kept the bocce ball/sports area on deck 11 like Venezia but on Firenze it looks like the Deli is there now. 

 

Getting excited and can't wait to see the photos! Watching John Heald do some walkthroughs, too, and it looks like a nice ship! I LIKE the Lido layout on Venezia/Firenze - hate the direct sunlight and always wanted more lounging areas in the shade and these ships have that in spades! 

 

Can't wait to cruise on her in October!

We're on the second week of May cruise. Entirely meh. Glad to be cruising but not a fan of the lido design.

Hey neighbor 👋 We were in 9395 a room registered to only a 7 month old infant and her mother and also got that smoking warning letter. It was so infuriating, can’t you at least check the passenger list and realize that someone with a 7 month old probably isn’t the problem?
