But as the cliche goes, everything happens for a reason, right?  So had we not had this encounter, we likely never would have found our dream machine!  The machine that would ultimately keep us occupied…and pay us handsomely well into the wee hours of the morning!

But first, I had to drag Sweet Mama from the casino to clean up for the 7pm show and dinner in Tuscan.

The show was a Cabaret style of popular diva style song and dance which we enjoyed very much.

Am I the only one who holds my breath during the acrobatics?

After the show we headed to Tuscan where we were offered a two top window table with a dead center view of the wake. It couldn’t have been more perfect!

I ordered for the table creating our own tasting menu that was truly fabulous. Sweet Mama enjoyed it so much that we swapped out last night Murano reservation for another visit to Tuscan.

Is Tuscan open for light breakfast? I can never get to sit down breakfast on workout mornings and so Tuscan is a calm oasis to have a light-ish breakfast and latte and mimosa.

Tuscan is open until 10am for a continental breakfast but is only offered to Captain’s Club members who are Elite and up.

It sounds like the mother daughter cruise is going nicely less a couple of hiccups.

You and Sweet Mama are “seas”ing the moments that will be cherished memories long after Reflection drops anchor back in Port Everglades.🥰

Thanks for taking us along and reminding me to only hit the buffet promptly at opening time for lunch prior to contamination.
Grateful for Elite breakfast with bloodies and Cafe Al Bacio indulgences.😻

May your winning streak continue!!

great photos. Coco Cay....best enjoyed at a distance  while you have ship to yourselves! ...brilliant strategy..

glad you showed the long walk to the facility..that would make it  NOT for us in the hot sun!

Thank you!  Absolutely no regrets in skipping it.  Spoke with several people who remarked about how expensive everything is on the island. I’m sure the kiddos enjoyed it.

There are shuttles that bring you down the pier, and to the main tram station where you can catch a tram to every part of the island. My wife has mobility issues and we walkabout 50 steps on CoCo Cay. Tram from ship to main station, tram to Lagoon pool, get off and grab our "secret" chairs behind the bar and near the snack shack!. You don't have to spend a dime on the island. Drink packages and wifi travel with you, food is free, chairs free, pool free, ocean free.  Skip the cabanas and the pay areas and its zero $$.

But, sometimes an empty ship is a great option too!

I’m so glad you pointed this out!  I should have clarified that folks we spoke with were specifically referring to the water park and one of the for fee adult areas. I have not priced these areas myself so can’t really speak to actual costs.

I think the prices for the Beach Club, Adult Area and Cabanas has become ridiculous. The first time we booked a Lagoon Cabana it was $299, we had eight folks, waiter service -- it was great. Last time we were there, they were $1,399. I have seen some Over the Water cabanas at the Beach Club listed for $3,499. That is nuts.

Entry into the Beach Club varies but usually I have seen it at over $200pp. New adult area, Hideaway Bay is a little less .Someone is paying it, but it ain't me!

My daughter said the Symphony of the Seas was there with you -- that's another 6,500 people.

Biggest problem we have with CoCo Cay in the summer is the HEAT. Not X's fault although there may be a poster or two that want LBH to hop on that problem.

Ah,… I’m elite. Somehow I thought it was suite + elite. Always calm and perfect. I screech in around 9:30 after spin class, sweaty shower, sink laundry, then race down the hall, slowing down like Kramer as I glide in and order my cappuccino.

I admit that I was at a loss for words. My mouth opened and closed like a guppie and words wouldn’t form, much less come out!  As if in slow motion, I gathered my whits and said, “so you seriously would like us to move” and looked to Sweet Mama who added, “I think there’s another Timberwolf over there”….indicating some random and elusive area of the casino. But the lady wasn’t budging and quite frankly, she was killing the mojo. The whole scene was mystifying and a complete diversion from any gambling experience I’ve ever had. Feeling no attachment to Timberwolf and having no desire to escalate the situation, we cashed out and moved on. I observed the lady plunk herself down and begin to play. I have no idea how she fared the rest of the day but as far as we could tell, she remained at that machine well into the evening.

unreal. So many feel they are entitled

Did you get both the veal marsala and the filet mignon? Looks amazing !!! Never had the marsala, thinking about trying it in a few weeks. How was it?

Did they raise the cost of the Whispering Angel to $19 in addition to the Decoy? We just went thru this last year !!!

Mystifying for sure. You got to wonder, is this an unhealthy case of entitlement or just plain mental illness. The world must disappoint and frustrate her all the time.  Congratulations on the win!!

Yes, it’s veal Marsala and a filet mignon. The steak was delicious but the veal was on the tough side so not as enjoyable. I wouldn’t order again. We shared everything and asked for half portions and it was still too much food!

Yes, whispering Angel is $19 a glass. I highly recommend the Silver Ghost though.

Thank you for the reply. Very sad. This is the same thing they did earlier in the year and then reversed after much passenger complaining !!! Are you staying on for the next segment? My kids board on Friday. Have fun !!!

thanks for posting very useful info,  but the pier walkway layout reminded us of the long pier at Costa Maya, San Juan & surprisingly St Kitts fir Ascent....no luck there with the promised tram.

I think we prefer to remember CoCo Cay the way it was before it was " "transformed".  Had our first snorkel experience there  many years ago..  The place was a mostly undeveloped gem!  We enjoyed it many times.

We may book Reflection but would skip that " port" stop.

Not ever worth the money even when they run a sale. I have seen those Cabanas priced for more than the cruise. As for the water park, they have plenty of those on land for far less money. In the past we purchase blow up floats from the dollar store and just tossed them out at the end of the day. We floated over to the swim up bar at Labadee.

I find myself very annoyed with Celebrity. The Purell dispensers stationed at both entrances are empty and nobody was present with a bottle to squirt into our hands. We ducked into the restroom to wash our hands and then entered the chaos that was the buffet.

You are braver than I am. I would have turned around when I saw that the Purell was empty. You were probably one for the few who took the time to use the bathroom to wash your hands. I always assume that someone has sneezed or coughed along the way without being witness to it. I was like this before covid.

We dined in the Lawn Club Grill this evening. Food and service were great but word to the wise, the 7-7:30 pm time slot coincides with the Kids’ Club activity hour on the grass under the big screen tv just a stone’s throw from the nearest section of dining tables. The group amassed 57 children all screaming in delight over the games being facilitated by the club counselors. To their credit, the activities were expertly executed and the kids seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. Were I a parent with a child in the kids’ club, I’d be pleased with the quality of activities and supervision. There were 6 counselors assigned to manage the group and I had to wonder if Celebrity have hired more as a result of the addition of the PI itinerary. Anyway, all that to say the beginning of our meal was too loud for conversation but not bad at all for people watching.

I literally did a little ba da bump beat in my head at “seas”ing the moments!  So very clever…😊…and yes, we absolutely are. Can’t believe how quickly the time is passing.

Decoy was put back on the Premium Beverage package so it's back to $17.00, or at least it was in May on the Millennium.  Conundrum was still $19.
