The two-deck nightclub is being removed and replaced by staterooms on deck 3 and a specialty restaurant on deck 4.

That is the sad part to me. Loved it on all the freedom class ships (and Mariner and navigator, etc.). Many fun nights in those clubs and such a cool and unique set up. Just sad.

Yeah, I'm gutted that they're removing the night clubs as well.

The Viking Crown bars are poor substitutes. It seems an odd move for a cruiseline fixated on attracting a younger more active crowd.

Consistent as do pretty much same on all ships in class including removing club on other ships, and of course it's all about adding cabins and water slides on some these ships...

I emailed rci other day and they told me that café promenade is also going. I hope they have got this wrong though.

That would be surprising as it's not been done on any of the Voyager, Freedom, or Oasis class ships that have been in dry dock.

Maybe they will take my advice. change the offerings to match Park Cafe. keep it open 24 hours, and change the name to Park Cafe.

Now that would be great.

Strange you mention that ... on the revamped deck plans on the RC website(s) all the rumoured changes are showing ... 'sky pad', 'fish n ships', 'Royal theatre' etc. 'Cafe Promenade' no longer shows on the updated deck plans. Maybe it's a mistake but weird that they told you it was going and its gone from the deck plans.

I enjoy the cafe promenade for my late night tea, that would suck

Wait a second...

"The Sugar Beach Candy & Ice Cream Store"

I can't imagine that they would have two ice cream shops on the Promenade. Does this mean:

1. Ben & Jerry's is being removed?

and more importantly

2. Is the Ben & Jerry's sweet being removed?
