Favorite Drinks

We are going on our first Princess cruise next month on the Ruby. We like to hit up the different bars for drinks. My husband usually drinks beer during the day and in the evenings sometimes will have a mojito or amaretto sour. I enjoy fruity drinks like strawberry daquiris, martinis, and midori sours.

 

What is your favorite drink onboard the ship and what is your favorite bar?

Pina colada at sailaway on deck ordered from any bar waiter up there.

It all depends upon my mood:

the quiet Adagio -- I love the citrus bellini, which I think is only available at that bar.

the clubby Wheelhouse -- a classic Tanqueray (or occasionally Bombay Sapphire) martini

the hip, Rat-Pack vibing Crooner's -- London Lemonade

When I first board the ship?? A Lush Champagne cocktail......it sets the mood for the upcoming week.....;)

 

With that first slice of pizza it is a 24K Rita on the rocks no orange slice extra lime. <----this is my favourite relaxing at the pool Princess drink

 

I fell in love with a Martini called a Fresh Raspberry (??) Martini this last cruise and often had one before dinner.

 

Halfway through the cruise Mojitos usually become the new favourite relaxing by the pool Princess drink however by the end of the cruise the 24K Rita is back.

 

K, now I am off to make a margarita :eek:

As for favorite bar, it has to be Crooners and the Chairman of the Board martini!

Breakfast at Tiffany's in Crooners - the macerated marmalade mouthful at the bottom of the glass is lovely!

Absolutely favorite bar is Crooners. Favorite drink is their Cosmo.

 

But, when up at the pool having pizza, I love the fact that they serve Stella Artois on tap.

as for favourite bar....it depends on the staff. The last cruise we got off was the Golden and we enjoyed the bar beside the International Cafe. Great for people watching.

The ultimate cooler has been my favorite but I'm ready to try something new. Does anyone have any suggestions for a refreshing, not too sweet drink with vodka?

I like a good mojito. If you like Midori sours, you should try a Japanese Slipper, which is Midori, Cointreau, and lemon juice served in a martini glass. It was the special of the day in the Platinum/Elite/Suite lounge.

Sea Breeze is a cocktail containing vodka with cranberry juice and grapefruit juice. The cocktail is usually consumed during summer months due to ...

 

You might also try the Bay Breeze which substitutes Pinneaple juice for the grapefruit juice.

Mai Tai is my favorite. They make them perfect on the CB.
