Very odd thing...

So I am posting from the Independence of the Seas while we're enjoying a 5-night and I want to ask about something strange that we see on our deck. On our deck (9) there have been security details posted in the hall directly in front of an inside cabin. They have rotations of shifts and they are sitting just outside of the cabin with a clipboard.

Anyone have any idea of what the issue might be? I believe the guards are there 24/7....

Maybe guarding a thought to be extinct sea monster they pulled out of the water. :D:D:D:D:D

Definitely my favorite answer!!:p

We thought of many of these ideas, but was curious about what others might have thought. The guards have been keeping "data" on a clipboard... we're in our one and only port (other than Labadee) so maybe they will be escorted off today... will keep an eye out.

Could be the person is quarantined for medical reasons and would not voluntarily stay in their cabin. Or someone who violated the guest conduct policies and is awaiting being disembarked at the next port.

I just hope it will not cause danger to other passengers.

Pepper Grinders and Cheesecake Lollipops can be found on the Serenade.

My guess is Noro, someone who did not pay child support, someone wanted for a felony.

Or someone who tried to smuggle on booze, extension cords, travel irons, removed their tips, wore shorts to the MDR, were caught smoking and all these people are now crowded in an inside cabin until Royal can figure out what to do with them.

We are dying to know!! Please keep us posted!!

I hope they have a balcony cabin. I can't imagine being stuck in an inside cabin 24/7.
