Our afternoon started at the Sunset Bar after lunch, with a game of dominos we bought on board with us.

After a lazy afternoon I went to the casino bar and watched some Premier League football.

In Reflection Theatre tonight it was Becky O'Brien. She was a semi-finalist on Britain's Got Talent in 2015. We didn't go to either show.

It really depends on which package you get, along with if you want to go on the first night. Since we are traveling with two other couples this time, we booked our reservations earlier, so we paid $108 for three dinners and can go to any restaurants. The more dinners, the cheaper the price. You can also negotiate a little if they are looking for customers...happy hunting!

Was that $108 per person or per couple ? And did you do this when you first got on the ship or before on the website ?

My understanding (based on devouring the contents of this site for the past few weeks) is that it is $108 per person for three meals in your choice of speciality restaurants (doesn't include Blu). i.e. for two people to dine in Murano, Tuscan Grill and Qsine it will cost $216.

I've read that you can eat in the same restaurant more than once if you choose. I'm not sure whether the deal can be applied to Sushi on Five.

I'm pretty sure this deal is always available. i.e. You can buy before you board, or on board.

I think the main benifit of buying early is that it should be easier to reserve the time you want in the restaurant you want.

For those without Internet access there's a sale on the Unlimited Package for the remainder of the cruise. There was a flyer left in the cabin last night with today's Celebrity Today.

The Captain's said during his announcement this morning that we passed over the North Atlantic Ridge overnight, and we have 1262 nautical miles to go to reach Tenerife. We've travelled 2178 nautical miles since leaving Miami.

The Captain also warned us of some low pressure ahead that we could hit tonight, so the calm seas we've had so far could be about to change. Looking out across our balcony it's clear to see the sea is a bit more choppy today than it has been so far.

Yesterday in the Grand Foyer there was an Officers v Guests Golf Challenge.

Each person had two attempts, with the aim being to putt the golf ball into the middle hole. CD Maarten was the best of the officers with a score of 2 and 3.

One lady guest then got a hole in one on her first attempt. And then she got ANOTHER with her second!!! [emoji54] GUESTS WON!!!!

This morning in the Sky Lounge it was Friendly Feud, Officers v Guests.

The Officers were leading 3-1 before a 'winner takes all' final round which the GUESTS WON!!!!

Good to know that X still do the silent disco. It was great fun when we've done it before, hopefully they'll keep it going on our upcoming Med sailing.

We were talking to Charlotte, the Activity Manager, last night and she said we'll be having three more before our cruise is out. She said there'll be one in Sky Lounge and two by the pool, one in the afternoon, one in the evening.

I guess how many there are is dependent on the cruise length.

Thanks for that, so hopefully there'll be at least 1 on our 10 night sailing.

We'll be on the July 31 cruise...

I booked this 3-meal package for $109 pp. I'm not going to quibble over $2 for my wife and me.

They only reserved our first night (the first night on board) as a placeholder, and told me to set things up with the maitre d' once we got on board. We can eat in the same restaurant more than once, though like you, I'm not sure if this applies to Sushi on Five.

I'd like to eat in the MDR on the nights when they serve prime rib and lobster, but i don't know when these are. I'll ask after we get on board... unless there's a regular schedule. If someone else is taking this 11 day cruise before we do, maybe they can post about this.

The late night show this evening was Liar's Club in Celebrity Central. And a funny show it was too.

When we have seen the Liar's Club, it was in the main theater and well attended. ;) It also featured the Captain and another officer. Looks like this has changed. I cannot say I am surprised. Though the show was hilarious, I thought it rather unprofessional to have the Captain and Officers saying some of the things that they did!

So you have 11 days left on your cruise, and the discounted cost of the Unlimited Internet is $210. I just got off the phone with the Captain's Club and purchase the same package for our upcoming 11 night cruise (getting on when you disembark) for $175 using the Elite + discount. Glad I went ahead and booked instead of waiting to see what was offered onboard. ;)

After dominos yesterday we went for 'Four In A Row' today over coffee at Cafe al Bacio.

The wind has certainly picked up today and forward on deck 15 outside from the forward elevators has been roped off. Saying that, you could still take the outside stairs up to deck 16 if you wanted to.

The change in weather has reduced the numbers by the pool.

We had lunch at the Mast Grill. The wind is coming from the starboard side, so eating lunch there was fine.

There's going to be another before the cruise is out and that's going to be in the theatre.

CD Maarten said at the beginning last night that the theatre was being used for show rehearsals, which is why it was in Celebrity Central last night. It was standing room only a good 10 minutes before the show started, and that was after they had bought extra chairs in too!

So you have 11 days left on your cruise, and the discounted cost of the Unlimited Internet is $210. Pro-rata the rate is (slightly) better than the full cost for 16 days. Pre-cruise, without any Captain's Club discount the cost was $319.

In the Pre-Cruise Planner it should be 10% off full price. You can then get Captain's Club discount off that by calling them.

I bought mine when Celebrity had their 72 hour sale recently, which gave 30% off the full price, but it couldn't be combined with Captain's Club discount.

The offer onboard was better though? $210 less captains club elite discount would be $147, last year I paid $139 for 11 nights on two cruises. ;) Has the price increased?

Hey Debbie. When there is a mid-cruise Internet special, I do not believe that the CC discount can be used. Mainly because so many passengers have already been using their "free" minutes up. At the beginning of the cruise, yes, you can use the discount against the full rate.

And the pricing has gone up on the Internet Package. When it first became available, the rates were lower. ;)

Peter, I'm Liesa of the group Norma spoke of. We are great fans of

I Made; he is always warm, friendly, attentive, an excellent bartender, and if he is running the bar, it runs well. Thank you for posting this picture; we all miss him. I use a mobility scooter onboard, and I Made insisted on valet parking my scooter anytime I showed up at the Martini Bar on Silhouette, where he was stationed on my 2015 and 2016 TAs. I think he loved driving it.

Btw, on my west-bound Reflection TA last autumn, 6'6" Maarten borrowed my small scooter and folded himself onto it for a few spins around the ship. His knees were almost against his chest. If you see him, ask him if he misses having the scooter to cruise the Oceanview Cafe. LOL.:D

I am missing not being on a TA this year; thank you for your wonderful Live review. It's bringing back fabulous memories! Enjoy it all!

We finally caught up with him! He seems like a happy chap. [emoji41]

The first night on EVERY Celebrity cruise has prime rib in the MDR. In the past the specialty dining packages required you dine in specialty on the first night. Therefore I have never bought the dining package.

Yes you are probably right about that it would make sense as people will have used their discounts up. What was the rate before you got your captains club discount? Did they say that it was cheaper to buy in advance rather than on the ship? :) like you we will be buying it, just want the best rate ;)

I have to give a shout out for I Made. He was fantastic!! And looks good and happy! Do you know there is another IMade on another ship? Someone mentioned IMade on a thread and I asked if he was on a particular itinerary and he said no. He was not that IMade.

Show your thread to IMade so he can see his fans comments! :D

We are in the process of a scavenger hunt onboard today, Friday, with a big party in the Reflection Suite...everyone is having so much fun and sharing false information about where to find certain things, people etc. I have never laughed so hard or been so tired, as the ship was rocking back and forth like a drunken sailor...92849824c147d962c4cbd7ae00069e90.jpg
