OfTheSeasCruiser Posted March 7, 2018 #1851 Share Posted March 7, 2018 What chances are that Explorer Of The Seas Transatlantic will get cancelled so the same upgrades could be applied to Explorer like what happen to Mariner? She could have a drydock and sail back empty. And Explorer isn't due for another dry dock until 2020, so I don't think they'll bring her in a year early. Tall-Cruiser Posted March 7, 2018 #1852 Share Posted March 7, 2018 There is no reason to expect Royal to abandon those itineraries. Explorer has a TA ending in Miami and Serenade has a repo ending in Fort Lauderdale. Luke - Thanks for the note. So there is a chance we could see both doing the Southern Caribbean. MADflyer Posted March 7, 2018 #1853 Share Posted March 7, 2018 I am not sure if this has been posted yet. Here are the Explorer sailings that go on sale tomorrow. Would Explorer not first just do the Navigator sailings out of Miami, similar to 2018? http://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/Deployment/2019_2020/2019_20_EX_Deployment_Europe.pdf

ONECRUISER Posted March 7, 2018 #1855 Share Posted March 7, 2018 Luke - Thanks for the note. So there is a chance we could see both doing the Southern Caribbean. Serenade is most likely sailing same 10/11 nite cruises as before. See no reason it would change.
shipfriend_max Posted March 7, 2018 #1856 Share Posted March 7, 2018 RCI is missing the great itinerary Celebrity offer's...Ireland, Iceland & Scotland. But I must say RCI is providing a better Northern Europe program than Celebrity does! X just offers a few Norway cruises at the beginning and the end of the season, and apart from the Iceland/Atlantic cruise in mid of August all the other cruises to Iceland are also offered in the beginning of the season, that’s too early. I rather hoped for some similar cruises Princess offers from Southampton. Iceland in July or August, North Cape and Norway, less Med cruises at least on one ship. RCI already deploys two from Southampton... Sent from my iPhone using Forums

bigeck Posted March 7, 2018 #1865 Share Posted March 7, 2018 What draws you to the TA/TP cruises. Sent from my iPhone using Forums First I cruise was a 7 night Med on Adventure in 2011. I booked a Ta on Adventure for 2012 and paid half for 15 nights. Loved being able to see the ship and the relaxing sea days. I also like the Us and they give you a chance to spend a few days before flying home. I only paid £361pp for the 15 night Ta from Malaga to San Juan. Because it was so cheap we had 5 days in New York on the way home. It was Thanksgiving so I saw the parade as well. Done the 12 night Med from Barcelona on Serenade with an overnight in Venice. That was a good cruise. Also done 7 night cruises as well. Norwegian Fjords, West Coast from LA and just off Freedom in September. Also done a 10 night Greek Island from Rome on Celebrity Constellation. Made diamond after 5 cruises

I'm on the Eastbound and it was moved to Miami. Maybe it won't be returning to San Juan.
