Got my 3, and already applied them. Had a slight glitch with paypal (as others hand mentioned, but worked through it). Looks like we have two threads about this, but thanks to both for the heads up!

Anyone know if I can get the prepaid gratuities refunded so I can use the gift cards to pay for them instead? I didn't learn about the discounted gc choices until after I booked and paid fully.

It would probably go to your s&s account if your cruise is paid in full. Call carnival and see.

Not sure but it just ran Friday and Monday. I haven’t booked my first Carnival cruise so never paid attention.

Slight correction on the above post. They ran last Thursday, not Friday. Those only lasted about 5-6 hours, but they sold a lot less that time (500). This past round started Monday afternoon and lasted until Tuesday morning, but they sold 2,000. It's the first time I've seen them sold by that particular ebay vendor and I don't recall it ever been posted here before either. No idea where they got the surplus of Carnival cards. Only time will tell if they do it again.

It's legit, I spoke with 4 eBay customer service, I did confirm with them if it's scam I can get my money back. The only problem with it, they keep reject my credit card, anyone buy it with eBay Giftcards? I plan to buy one of the eBay gift card and use it to pay,

My bank is aware that I'm going to use it with PayPal, and all my info on PayPal is correct too. I don't know how to get pass their firewall.

If anyone buy it with eBay gift cards, please let me know.

Wondering if they were invalid all along or if something happened between then and now. Please keep us posted.

I had to hang up to pick up kids. I'll try again tonight.

 

But, I first put in an older gift card that had over $250. The transaction timed out while I wad on hold. But, carnival.com gift card balance check says that card is used. So I'm now out that gift card also

I bought 6 cards total at two different times with this offer. All cards are valid. I have a feeling this is a case of user error trying to redeem the gift cards. Hopefully you figure it out.
