Aft Staterooms

Aft facing on Epic vibrates a lot but we only like aft facing cabins so we deal with it, aft facing on Sun and Dawn (suites and regular) were fine, trying aft facing on Breakaway Dec. 2019.  Aft facing Pearl suite was fine also, I do remember just a tiny bit of soot 2 days on one of the ships but no big deal.

We had an aft facing on the Pearl, deck 9, and loved it.  Didn't feel any vibration except when docking.  We felt a little more vibration on the Bliss, deck 12, but mostly when docking.

Been in an aft cabin on the Sky and Pearl - love them - the Sky does not have azipods  and the rear thrusters caused lots of vibration when docking. Less so on the Pearl with the pods. The only time we had vibration on the pearl was when it made a wide turn by turning one of them slightly - you could  see the difference in the wake pattern. On the Pearl the Bliss lounge is on deck 7 so the cabins on deck 8 are directly above them - they also have the smallest balconies - ten has the largest - and also the most exposed to deck 11 and the Great Outdoors Cafe. But I will take being able to have loungers over chairs.

The Great Outdoors is on deck 12. Deck 11 is all cabins.

We had an AFB deck 10 on the Epic in Rome.. it was awesome.

We just booked and AFB on the Joy for next August...the count down begins.

Some Vibration on epic but not enough to discourage is from doing it again.

Besides the view was awesome..sunsets and sunrise's were spectacular.

We have been in AFT cabins on the Escape and Getaway twice. Never really had any major problems on deck 13 except a little soot once in awhile. Cabin # 13308 and 13306 same spot on the two ships and we have the same room for the Bliss Dec 8th.

I lived in Palm Coast in 2004-2005, Faircastle LN 🙂
