These last few weeks have been so hectic with preparing for our granddaughter’s Baptism as well as the drive to babysit for Zoey. As well as 2 major stressful goings on in our lives. Both are eagerly awaited. 

The drive is worth it. I usually can make it with one pit stop. ( 4 hours 20 min) Getting older these legs move better with a 10-15 min walk at one of the rest stops on rte 71. I probably look goofy. Probably should borrow a dog so I look like I am on a mission. 
Anyway my one friend asked me if the drive is getting to me. 
How could it. It is like a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. 
 

Oh. I wish this thread would have summaries every week. I am so far behind. Little time to read. 
 

But with all sincerity. You are all in my prayers.  And I have plenty of time to pray as I drive.

Seven nights.  He is feeling better but still has low energy.  His legs are bothering him.  I don’t know, such a decision!

Eric was stubborn last August but was very happy he had the scooter after his broken sacrum.

I might have missed something but what’s going on with his legs?

They think his diabetes is causing weakness in his legs.  He gets tired quickly when walking and standing too long.  Diabetic neuropathy.  They want him to walk more but he is stubborn so getting him to move is difficult. He has so much going on I think he is just tired of it all. Unfortunately they won’t let him drink so I have to do it for him.  I told him he needs a good stiff alcoholic beverage 🤪

Im sorry to hear this. I sort of understand how he feels. When my knees hurt really badly I don’t want to walk either. I hope things get better for him. I will be thinking of you all.

My brother I believe started queens college about 1974 he is 8 years younger than me , my friend Dave Deblasio started about the same time since he was in the marines first . My brother will be in New York memorial weekend also , he runs a theater in Florida and brings up a group of people to see plays and he and his wife show them around the city.

My own daughter gave me an Old Fashioned T-shirt like this one.  I'm not sure what "hint" I was supposed to get from that.

 

But, the fact that the FB targeted marketing algorithms are sending you these ads... that hints something 😁🥃

The funny thing is, I don't really drink!!!!  I get all my peach daiquiris on a cruise "virgin style" and if I do get a drink with booze in it, I ask for "light alcohol".

I think they just know that I have a penchant for snarky / funny t-shirts -- I think I could wear a different one every day for over a month without repeating any!
