I did buy the pineapple purse. These are the 4 that I have. 3 of them came with the cross body straps which I don't like so I made some short beaded handles.

I love them all Renee.  I got one on my cruise on Adventure last March with Deb and Andy.  It is the crossbody with the anchor!

Made it down to the garden yesterday.   Looking good.

Peppers coming out.  These are Jimmy Nardello peppers. They are so good. After they turn red they look really hot however they are nice sweet peppers.   Great on pizza.

Tomatoes showing too.  Cherry tomatoes come out quick however the larger tomatoes are growing well too!

Your garden is beautiful.   I'm a Master Gardener and grow about 800-1000 herb and veggie plants each year for our annual sale.  My husband loves Jimmy Nardello peppers--I tried twice this year with 2 different batches of seeds and couldn't get a single one to germinate.

Hope you have a very productive garden this season.

Kind of looks like apricot and peach maybe, Helen. They are fuzzy for plums. Your photos are great! Thank you so much for sharing them with us. What a lovely and beautiful country. I had no idea. ☺️

They do look too fuzzy to be plums.  Probably stone fruits of some kind.

I hope your cleaning of your house is going well.  We are having some really nice weather lately.

Still packing and disposing away. The termite people started work today. In order to replace the subfloor, they will be remodeling the guest bath, that we hadn't planned to remodel. I hadn't really developed a plan for a sudden disassembly and replace. 🤔

The weather has been very nice. A little chillier today though. Thanks for asking. ☺️

Yesterday I thought I saw a fox running across my neighbors yard.  Reddish/orange color, long bushy tail sticking straight back. Tail was almost the length of the animal. It was middle of the day & he kinda scurried trying to get out of sight as soon as possible.

I once, only once saw what looked like a fox on the Palisades Parkway area a in the wooded area right next to the exit 10 ramp.  I was amazed since there were quite a bit of cars whizzing by.  It looked exactly like the description of the one you thought you saw.

Even though I post on here and send an occasional e-mail the keys on my computer and iPad are very difficult for me to use because I have Dupuytren’s Contracture.Talking on a phone or voice talking on line is very difficult because of hand and face tremors.Speakerfone is also difficult because I slur my speech and my words do not always come our clear. My Stage 4 Parkinsons is now nearly Stage 5 and everything is getting worse. That is why I am not on line as much as I used to be.

So sorry you have such extensive physical disabilities especially your Parkinsons.  I would hope at times you could get someone to help, family/friends with internet stuff.  I'm sorry you can't post much online.  I know posting in here brings you lots of enjoyment.

Day 1 of Yokohama- 4/22/2024

We have reservations for Chicken Ramen Factory at the Cup Noodles Museum Yokohama.

IMG_4452.thumb.jpeg.c1e110494f3a465965a3908262d207cb.jpeg

This is where we make our own chicken ramen.  This step is mixing the flour and kneading the dough.

IMG_4535.thumb.jpeg.16f356db1d94bc1c0b08e03a072d4509.jpeg

After flattening the dough many times and cutting them into noodles, it is fried.  Then place in package.

IMG_4511.thumb.jpeg.b9af24563d022076c798e843e926b38e.jpeg

Package is sealed and we are presented with the ramen that we made ourselves.  This is mine.

IMG_4512.thumb.jpeg.b4ae7e86c2fe468cdaa6b5121cd16853.jpeg

You can also make and design your own cup noodle.

IMG_4543.thumb.jpeg.60ece65dd77111db228bc7b7ef01e45d.jpeg

These are the noodles that go into the cups.

You choose the different ingredients you want in your cup.

The lid goes on and then cup is sealed with cellophane.

Her existing cat (real name Onyxia because she's all black but everyone calls her Stinky) was used to having my daughter all to herself. There's quite a bit of hissing and growling happening so far from Stinky, but Merlin doesn't seem at all phased by it.  My daughter is slowly introducing the cats to each other over about a week before putting them in the same room together.

Merlin is adorable.    Welcome to the family😻

I enjoyed reading the NYT article in your post.  I especially liked, "There are other versions of fast noodles.  There is spaghetti in a can.  It is sweetish and gloppy, and a first cousin of dog food".  It's been a long time since I've even thought about Spaghettios or Chef Boyardee in a can, but that's a pretty good description.

She wants to use them to grow flowers for DD'S flower business.  Her business is growing big time.  Her is a small jar of them we delivered this weekend.

We will have an additional 2 beds for flowers in a few weeks after we harvest the garlic.

Our DD has a huge garden area for her flowers behind her house!

Beautiful!!   I love your aft GVB😊

Plants are looking great. Does Home Depot/Lowes sell pepper plants that would taste like the Jimmy Nardello?

Do you think they were bad seeds or something you did? I prefer to buy plants because seeds take to long, but there are so many choices with seeds.

Not sure.   I have been starting my plants from seed for years now so I have not paid much attention to them there .

This is I think my 3rd year of Jimmy Nardello peppers.   I had never heard of them before.  I got them based on reviews. They are now my 1 of 2 favorites along with jalapeno peppers. We are also growing bell.
