I seem to always get a seat in front of rude people that talk loud, and are generally disruptive. Not to mention getting a seat (way too many times) where the child behind me keeps kicking my seat. 😣 No thanks. I have no problems waiting for any movie I want to watch to come out on DVD to watch on my home theater system. Plus I can "pause" for bathroom breaks and to make some home popcorn. 😄 What’s a DVD? 😂 I’m not big into theaters either. Maybe when it’s a family outing. As big and nice tv’s are, movies can be enjoyed at home. I upgraded the phone service last year and it now includes HBOMAX. Pause is. Big plus too!

Thank goodness you now have the wonderful husband you deserve, Pat. I though of you yesterday while I was pruning bushes in our backyard yesterday. Another birds nest! At least I learned my lesson this time, and worked slowly and cautiously. We have so many birds here, and they are all so very active! Actually it was kind of funny when I was paddling the kayak up to the launch to disembark. Slid my legs over the side and hopped up to drag it up. Rental guy taking care of the throng of tourists (which is a job I would not want on a Saturday!)... looked at me and told me I did that like a 20 year old. I laughed and told him I have not been one of those 20 year olds...for over 40 years. 😄 Thanks! We have a few birds already in our "land yacht" bird feeder. Really pretty Poppa Cardinal in there right now. Lots of birds here at the state park, including Hawks, Eagles, and a lot of water birds. BonTexasNY Posted October 23, 2021 #34930 Share Posted October 23, 2021 @lenquixote66Lenny what a relief and what wonderful news! You might not believe this but before reading your good news I kept thinking that maybe the sonogram would show something different from what the doctor thought and that it would not require an MRI!

Date nights. Currently just out to eat a few times a week. Unfortunately nothing worth going to see at the theaters currently. Last time we went to the theater was 2019. Nothing in 2020 and so far nothing in 2021. Bummer! I still have a DVD player and VHS player. I video all our vacations and burn them to a DVD movie format. We prefer video over pictures. I think I have a couple of tapes somewhere, do still have some vhs and a player and several hundred dvds . We also go out for dinner several times a week, going out tonight to our favorite which has a really good singer with a jazz trio . Owner told us we were his best customer.

DaniDanielle Posted October 23, 2021 #34935 Share Posted October 23, 2021 Finished John Grisham’s new book last night. I have read everything he has published. Love most of his books. Every now and then he seems to write one just to fulfill his obligations!

Our grandson was in CHOPS as an infant; he had an endoscope and colonoscopy done at around the age of 8 months or so. He had been living with the feeding port in his stomach until just recently. William is 10 years old. It's complicated; he goes for therapy to help him to learn how to process food in his mouth. It's been a tough 10 years for our daughter and son in law, but they're tough, too...as is our William!❤️ His grandparents are too.

I can't believe how they put the poor girl through so much...and it ends up being the cyst. I would be livid!! But seems that is the way of the world with Covid lately. Just takes too long to get in for tests. Me as well, I have a Ganglion Cyst...which has been there since my idiot ex husband banged my hand on the counter one day (on purpose) about 45 years ago. 😠 It has never gone down, but never enlarged. Sooo happy for Mallory and all of your family. Hopefully get beyond this nightmare now. 🙂 ' My family was in my house today. We were smiling instead of crying.

However, not having examined the patient, and knowing the difficulties at times of making a diagnosis as well as not wanting to miss a problem, I wouldn't be so fast to pile on the doctor. An that goes for several others of you guys, too. Also, remember how a few days ago you all were all upset about the MRI delay and then the insurance company requirement? If you have never practiced medicine yourself, and examined the patient, don't be in such a rush to judge. I am not piling on the doctor but I would think that a medical specialist would be able to identify a ganglion .
