I should have known better than to read this thread today.

Tomorrow I'm having my routine, every 5 year colonoscopy screening which means I've been on a Low Residue diet for three days with today being a no food, clear liquids only and no alcohol day. So I come to this thread to see all the food porn, new recipes and drink ideas.  Why am I torturing myself?

On a positive now, I probably dropped 5 pounds.  Belt is definitely 1 notch tighter. Now to keep it off!

Prayers for a good report.

Take care.

Not sure it really matters it's all going to the same place............The objective is to drink it right?

Actually a drink will taste quite different depending on whether you make it with a floater or mix it up.

I was an extra in two movies, never made it to the screen but I was paid the going rate for extras.

However, the brother of one of my co-workers was an extra in the first Godfather movie. He did make it to the screen. He was on screen for several minutes in the scene where there was an attempt on the life of Don Corleone in the hospital.

It was the only movie he was ever an extra in but it was the highlight of his life.

I was hired to be the physician for a company that was shooting a movie in RI/CT. My first patient was Julia Roberts.

Were you playing slots or table.

That's  a bummer what happened to Eric.   I wouldn't want to sit there wet either.

I hate it when the Aqua show gets canceled. You might get another chance to see it later.  Last time on Harmony it got canceled a couple times.  We got to see a partial one night before they had to end it.

Good luck tomorrow!

We were a slot machine.

I sometimes play blackjack if I find a table that looks like fun.   Some people take it to serious.

No biggy about his clothes.  I always bring a small bottle of woolite and with that and soapobar I was able to get all the cranberry out of his shirt and shirts.   Just put shorts on balcony to finish drying.  All good.

Did you hear about Mariner?, you might be heading their way to help them out. They might need to off load passengers on to your ship.  🤣🤣

Ugh, I feel your pain. Mine was last week. Afterward, I was so hungry that my husband took me through the McD's drive through and I got a Big Mac, shake and fries. At that moment, it was the best food I'd ever eaten in my life. 😂 I can't remember the last time I've had a Big Mac; I've lost 30 lbs this year and I don't usually indulge in those. But it sure hit the spot after all of the clear liquids.

All I can remember about Big Macs from the last time I ate one is that they taste really good going down but then I feel horrible for hours afterwards.

So every year I participate in Camp Envy. For those who do not know, I am a huge fan of Burning Man. What is it? Burning Man is guided by the values expressed by the 10 Principles, Burning Man is a global ecosystem of artists, makers, and community organizers who co-create art, events, and local initiatives around the world. Most recognizably, tens of thousands of Burners gather annually to build Black Rock City, a participative temporary metropolis in the Nevada desert.

The name of the event comes from its culminating ceremony: the symbolic burning of a large wooden effigy, referred to as the Man, that occurs on the penultimate night of Burning Man, which is the Saturday evening before Labor Day.

This year there are over 80,000 that have come. I've never been able to go. It's on my bucket list.

So I may be in out and out because I watch a live video feed of the event and listen to the hosts who talk about things going on. It's quite fun.

We also participate in live chats. I do one "slack" where you will find me as course as "Sea Dog."

I had my first colonscopy earlier this year and went to local diner for breakfast.   Tasted soon good!

No, I haven't heard.  What happened?  Where are they?

This ship is full enough I cannot imagine fitting anymore people on Oasis.

Colonoscopy's are PITA... NO they aren't if you are sedated. The worse part is drinking that MiraLax. Hoping you get a clean bill of health. After all as much as you've been to bathroom lately you will be clean.

Very true. I like the floater but eventually will mix it in with the drink. I think it's meant to be a visual thing.

You beat me to it!  It always sounded very interesting, and the logistics of the whole thing fascinate me, but not really my cup of tea.

I'm probably better off not ruining my fascination with it by going because my idea of camping is a weekend at a Hyatt and not being in a tent in a dust bowl.
