Survivor night...

For us it's packing night. We board the Equinox this weekend.

Itinerary is: A C B. In that order.

Most excited about meeting Bella's parents on this cruise (assuming they want to meet me 🤣😉😁)
With that said:
Prayers for Dani.

Hugs for all those hurting in body or spirit. Be well.
Will be checking in on here often. Will post some pictures.

"Greg and the Adventurers"......have a fantastic cruise and post pictures please.

@DaniDanielle Thank you for reaching out to Lenny. Good to know that he is okay, just not up to posting with what he is going through now. If he is reading CC, I hope he realizes that people genuinely care about him and wish him and Toby well.

@mo&fran I was pleased to read your post about being able to eat real

food again.

I am hoping that you continue to heal on the way to returned good health.

@dani negreanu and @BonTexasNY I am reminded of both of you and your families when I hear the news reports.

Can only hope that the destruction will end soon and that a feeling of peace and safety will be given to the people of Israel soon.

I was thinking if food, water and supplies can be sent some way to Israel. Will the Red Cross or other humanitarian services intercede to bring comfort to the people there?

If so, will there be a way to donate to the cause?

Bonnie, would you have some information about this?

@Sea Dog Read your posts. You and your wife have a lot going on pre cruise.

Have your stomach issues been resolved?

Will you be able to decorate for Christmas when you return from the cruise  before having the knee surgery?

Seems like you need a break and have something good happen in your life.

Considering the events in Israel and certain medical issues facing some of the posters here, I realize that my DH and I are fortunate that things are going well in our lives at the moment. We are grateful

for this and our hearts go out to those who are troubled here on CC and our own friends and family .

Life can be very tough and we need to reach out with caring to those who share the journey with us.

Wishing all a very good night.

MJ🙋🏻‍♀️

Thank you, MJ.  I have no info about helping Israel but I'm sure my synagogue will be in touch with definite info.

@Sea Dog Greg, this year's scaled back Christmas will soon be a distant memory as you start to plan for Christmas 2024 and your fully, beautifully decorated house.

Have a super pain free fabulous cruise, a successful knee surgery and rehab.  You can do this!

It's dropping below 60⁰ by 3am tonight!  We are going to have to turn off the a/c! 😲

John, can you tell me a bit about Voyager?  We aren't doing specialty restaurants, just MDR/Windjammer.  Is there a Solarium Bistro? How was the entertainment? Were you given a choice of AM or PM room clean-up?  I apologize if you already addressed this when you posted about your cruise.

Watching Phillies against the Braves in the playoffs and the other  Baseball Playoffs games, who has time for hockey now?

Baseball is still being played? 😉

Nice win tonight.

Thank you, Deb.

And let's make it a HUGE COMFORT -- I'm grateful for every one of the well wishes, thoughts and prayers.

Trying to find the right words, the "essence" being -- I wish I could be back, being a regular poster, writing and being read, about routine cruising, other trips, kids, grandkids, anniversaries, weddings and birthdays, with minor health issues [teeth, jaws?] thrown in...

Post here when you can as that will be a HUGE COMFORT for all of us here, even is it's not the regular routine topics but sadly, your "new" regular routine. Share as much or as little as you like and prayers that you will return to the "old" regular routine sooner rather than later.

We did the MDR 4 nights and Windjammer one night.  There is NOT a Solarium Bistro. We enjoyed most of the meals we had.  The only bad food I had was some Asian skewers in the WJ.   The meat was very tough.  Different options to eat at was one of the biggest things we missed.

Overall we did not like the entertainment.   Maybe a B- for the ice skating.   The shows were poor.  We left the 2nd early and stopped going after that.

We did have an am/pm option for room service.

With all that said everyone has different taste for food and entertainment.   I think the larger ships meet are expectations better.  I am still thankful we did it.  Nice to get away and fun hanging around with the other 3 we cruised with.

When are you cruising?  Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
