Since America is months and months away from mass immunization, not it’s not. This isn’t unexpected whatsoever. Cruises will only have a few Caribbean islands and mayyyyybe a SE Asia country to visit in 2021, at best. Punt to 2022,

Not surprised either - we just received a great offer from the casino for July and August Alaska dates. which I thought at the time was too good to be true!

Hopefully see a waiver. Otherwise the Alaska cruises start in San Diego,  go to Ensenada,  and then to Skagway?

Possible, but doubtful.  Too many sea days involved. and likely a two week cruise.

No reason why that wouldn't work.  It might be easier to schedule the customs and immigration processes, however, if Ensenada was the last stop before returning to San Diego.

I would do that cruise. Start in Seattle or Anchorage,  finish in Ensenada and then San Diego.

It sounds like the news release, which is where the link goes, is a bit muddied.  I would like to read the actual document not the news release.  Reading between the lines it sounds to me that the one year ban is to Arctic waters.  The cruise ship ban statement seems like someone through that in and it really doesn't belong in the one year ban statement.

Biometric passports have been around since 1998.   US started issuing in 2006.  Canada didn't start issuing until 2013.    Alaska season starts in 12 weeks ...       your optimism is refreshing !!        🙂      Scott.

No, it’s not thrown in.

That is the news release not the actual edict.  I would like to read the original edict
