It is a ghost island. Only the Bird has access. 
 

Speaking of birds, the people most happy to see cruise ship guests are the sea gulls. After 15 months of not having leftover hot dog and hamburger buns left over, the are super aggressive. Turn your head, and your lunch is flying off. 
 

Also Iggy missed us too. She was more interested in hibiscus flowers.

Next door is NCL’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay. The Bird was scheduled to be there in August until NCL cancelled their cruises out of Jamaica.

Staying fit while on a cruise?The gym, like everywhere else on ship, is set up for physical distancing. Half the availability of sometimes scares resources.

To use the gym, do you have to make a reservation or can you just show up? Also, are the steam room and sauna in the locker rooms open?

I am curious, why do all the bars close at midnight? If memory serves me right, bars closing times usually have the caption "till late"

I’m with you.  Phone is a pain to carry around and I’m bringing all my “emergencies” with me.  I’m not much of a picture taker either.  We will all have Voom (owners suite) but I don’t think any of us need it.

Also, it appears the menus in the Royal app are accurate at least for MDR.

Hi Everyone!  Thank you Bird for you wonderful posts !  I have a very unpopular question for you......what does the smoking section look like?  Is there smoking still allowed in the casino?  Thank you again for posting, I am enjoying every one of them!  Wish I was onboard.

No appointment.
 

No sauna. No steamroom. Closed due to distancing.

Someone from CC is onboard and reported they took the two of the last four 7am slots for the next day, and then they were asked if they wanted the same time everyday. She didn't say if they had to have an appointment, but they definitely do take them.
