Royal's website has 0 cruises out of Florida for July or August 21

I was trying to see what might be available, but there aren't any listings for any cruises departing from Florida this summer. Does anyone have a cruise booked for July or August? Have they cancelled everything for those months?

I asked the same question a few days ago, and then I also called RCI (As I was looking to take an August cruise) According to RCI, they are all sold out.

We have one on the Mariner for the end of August.  I believe they have reached capacity.  The Allure was showing for one date in August earlier but it is now gone

I am checking multiple times a day, with fingers crossed that they will re-open for booking.

Unless they get a lot of new cancellations due to RCCL sharing and changing current policies and protocols with those currently booked, I do not see many cabins being put up for sale.  I think they will keep occupancy at levels hovering around 50% to ensure a safe return to sailing and then if things are going well, starting in September they will start operating at higher occupancy levels.

The Allure cruise I am booked on in Sept has had very few if any cabins showing available for a while.  I have wanted to upgrade 2 Boardwalk Balcony rooms to ocean balcony's...no such luck so far.  Sept 19th sailing.

Well, crossing my fingers that there will be some cancellations and I can grab a room 😞

I would doubt they are sailing at 100% capacity by then.  You may get your chance to bid for an upgrade 30 days prior to your sail date

I turned our September 12th cruise week into a B2B and added the 19th but only thing left was a neighborhood balcony guaranty! I went ahead and took it just to stay on the ship but we are hoping to upgrade at least to an OV balcony as well!! Even if we fail to get an upgrade, we'll be glad just to stay on board that week, so hoping we don't get canceled! Cheers!

I'm almost positive the ship isn't booked anywhere near 100% at this time...

I don’t think this is indication they are canceled, they have just booked up to the planned capacity.  You can see the limited availability to the end of the year.  Example, Symphony out of Miami is no longer showing availability for October 9 and the other cruises that month show various categories that are no longer available.

This is how I noticed Symphony was not available for October 9.  I was checking to see if I might want to do a b2b with our Oct 2 sailing.

On Freedom Aug 06 2021. Took a chance and booked Navigator first of May. They moved Freedom to Miami instead and gave us option to stay or refund. We stayed and now we are sailing. I will be hitting the Casino to keep the luck going.  Both vaccinated  and ready to go.

Not to hijack OP's thread, but my husband and I were looking to sail on an Oasis/Quantum class ship in August 😞

Ovation is available out of Seattle in August, on Royal’s website.

Has anyone had any success in booking a cruise that seemed like it was full before? If so, how did you do it?

You need to keep checking for availability. Use a site other than RCI.

So if the sailings out of FL are sold out for july and august plus other dates for certain ships for sept/oct I guess they dont need to purchase the travel insurance since they all booked before june 28th.

I think you may have misread the RCCL communication.  Those who NEED to purchase their own insurance if they are unvaccinated are those who booked prior to March 19th of this year - which is the majority of those booked on the ships I would guess for July and August, as well as ALL bookings made starting today as well.  A very small window from March 19 - June 28 where it does not apply.

It reads, "This policy applies to sailings from August 1 through December 31, 2021, and all bookings - except bookings made between March 19, 2021 and June 28, 2021."

Yes, I was thinking of the freedom sailings when I typed that since she was suppose to sail out of Nj not Fl.  All the unvaxxed would have booked the august sailings before june 28th anyway.

We are booked for the 08/30/21 Mariner cruise and was told it's booked to current capacity. Moved our 08/09/21 cancelled cruise to this one. All three of us are vaccinated and ready to cruise!

Our 12th sept has only a few cabins left, no cheap Suites just a few higher end Suites, I was looking for an upgrade, but it would cost $1200 just to move laterally.

Just checked again on my other site that shows all rooms available and now there's nothing but interiors left!
