what does this mean

                                    Thanks Jim

It means "Blue Hulled Beauty" - the way HAL fans refer to the ships.

On this forum it usually means a HAL ship. The letters stand for "Blue Hulled Beauty"

Well just shows you can learn something every day, never heard of that before.

It’s a phrase that’s been used on the “Daily” thread for a while now 😉

This, I did not know. As someone who prides himself on a working proficiency in "random crap," I am both happy to learn this as well as sad that I didn't know it before.

I was ready to serve up quite a few alternative acronym explanations - many of them not safe for "the children" - so I'm glad that @StLouisCruisers cleared it up for us.

Well not just me but @kpladyand @jimgevposted all at the same time.  As @kazusaid, it's a term that's been in use on the Daily thread here on the CC Holland America board.  It was coined by one of our amazing posters and we have all started to use the term.  Just seems to fit!

Well, at least now I know that no one actually reads the comment above my elevator mat picture on the Daily. 😉

Oh yes, they do 😉

I, too was surprised that some posters on the Daily were unfamiliar with the term 🤷‍♂️

Thank you for explaining what 'BHB' means; I never would have guessed.

Not everyone reads the Daily, so if it is only a popular term there, there's no reason others would figure it out without help.
Happy the question was asked in a separate thread.
