Is the donut shop open and is it still complimentary? How was JR's breakfast?

Yes, donut shop open

Jr's was good and they didn't charge for the upgrade

Really pushing app for menus

This is supposed to be half the potatoes, twice the topping, add an egg

Did you guys go to t a casino?  It must have been so weird with only 659!guests onboard and probably only a portion of them being gamblers

Laura won $400 on Dancing Drums and left😁

That sucks.  We'd typically enjoy a JR breakfast once a cruise.  We liked sitting outside and doing early morning people watching on the boardwalk.

Only on potatoes and hamburger.

Plenty still no charge

When I was watching Matt’s (royal Caribbean blog) YouTube video he has it pulled down in Central Park and they politely asked him to put it back on. So I am guessing you have to wear it.

You think that might be because it is a test cruise? CDC and all

I heard Bella on the door last night. Thought someone knocked only one time. Mike looked and no one was there. Told him to check the door. He was confused by Bella. 😁 I had to explain.

You heard click of magnet. 😉

.  It currently says no mask outdoors, so why are they enforcing it outdoors?

I guess Royal thinks it's better to be safe then sorry. Wear the mask. I mean really it's not much trouble to put on a mask if that is what they want.

Maybe they think it's better to do this now rather then have another shut down again.

I just watch Matt's YouTube video and now I do have a question.  What "mini-amplification" changes have you noticed onboard?  There was a lot of speculation that they may squeeze in a few things in Cadez that they had already paid for/wouldn't save much money by delaying.  There were a few colored deck chairs in the video that made it look like the added a little of the Lime and Coconut color theme.

And John, I think I saw a Newcastle tap handle in one of the bars between the pool areas.

Tap, but no kegs.

I think I mentioned a few things added yesterday. Really not much. Biggest change is the WJ wash stations

John, jumping back in time a bit...I'm curious, prior to being able to board, were rapid COVID tests being performed on everyone?

No, everyone vaccinated

While Central Park is technically outside, it is certainly an enclosed space. I think it makes sense to require masks in Central Park.

Think about how you refer to it: "IN" Central Park. As opposed to "ON" the pool deck, or "ON" the Boardwalk.

Breaking news. There are upcharges for breakfast

Ouch  REALLY!!!.

We  usually order the  original offerings, but pity they had to start with upcharges.  Actually I recall some sort of loaded breakfast  potatoes in the past.    I hope this isn't the same one, but now with a charge.

Not high enough to cause a stir,  but is it really necessary to ask  $1.99 for a food item.  Seems it is better not to offer it all rather than have the insulting upcharge.  Kind of reminds me of the places that used to charge extra  for blue cheese dressing. ( maybe they still have those places?)

Or - just have a flat fee for breakfast ( I guess that is next) .

I wonder who makes these decisions at RCCL ?

Central Park is  outside, period!    Ever been on ship in the rain.  You will get wet in central park because it is outside.  Same with Boardwalk.   Last time I sat on my central park balcony - I can assure you it was not enclosed.

How do you refer to Central Park in NYC? It is about as outside as you can get.
