This Ain't Homer's Odyssey - A Live B2B2B on Odyssey of the Seas (8/22/2021-9/11/2021)

I have  a soda package this cruise.  They are no longer delivering the cups to your room - you can pick them

up at any bar during the cruise.

They are not using Wow bands anymore. Guest services said it was to avoid confusion with the bracelets.  They are not using tracelets this cruise and our vaccine bracelets are green this week.  We met a couple who are on the last leg of a B2B2B and they had all 3 bracelets on. They were 3 different colours so they are alternating colours.

Our vaccine bracelet was white last week.

Great updates JC.  If possible could you see if they are allowing JS guests in the coastal kitchen for Dinner?  Dont go out of your way.  Thanks so much.  Dan

I swung by Coastal Kitchen as I was leaving the Windjammer today for lunch. I asked if JS are able to eat there for dinner this week and he said yes.  I will check again next week,

Last night we went to the Hector is Magic show.  It was a pretty light crowd, but he had some neat tricks.  We had a pretty early evening last night.  I think we were back in the room by 10:30.  Paul and I both had to work at 8AM this morning so we did not want to stay out too late or over imbibe.

We went to the Windjammer for lunch today and then went to Music Hall for some trivia to finish out our lunch hour but pulled a No-No as Hubby and I forgot our bracelets and walked into the TV Show Visual Trivia at Music Hall on the vaccinated lower floor.  Johnny from the entertainment staff noticed right away and politely let us know that we would need to go upstairs and play from the upper level if we did not have our bracelets on.  Of course, this was no problem as we were the morons who forgot our bracelets.  I think I am going to start wrapping it around my card when we get back in for the night so I do not forget it again.

For those of you thinking about bringing a fan, I usually do but since I sailed solo on 8/8 I decided not to. The thermostat in the room went down to 66°F. For me it was perfect for sleeping.

Does it actually feel like 66, though? I've been in lots of hotels that claim it's 66 when it's really more like 76.

Suite lounge is kind of in a weird spot.  And it is a Suite Lounge despite what the deck plans say. We are Diamond + and we could not get in.

Yea....thought that location was very weird from when I first was on Quantum and looks like it never changed.

This is Jess’s husband. We just tried to get

into the diamond lounge again and it was full. So far we are 0 for 2. Maybe tomorrow  😂

Hi Jessy & Shadow_the_Shichon -  thanks for keeping us all informed.  That is really too bad that you cannot get into the Diamond Lounge, 2 nights in a row.😪

Thanks for posting the pic of the "Suite Lounge".  You know it is odd that they changed that from the "Concierge Club" as there are only 23 full suites in total onboard (I think I counted correctly) so really, there are not going to be many people in that large space.  Just received a C & A e-mail that Pinnacles will be getting their own Lounge on each ship - it is in the "Music Hall" on Quantum Class ships as, right now, they are not allowed in the Suite Lounge.

Your doggie is so cute!  Thanks again for taking the time to share all the info.  Hope you have a nice evening.

Cheers,

Canuck

This is the e-mail I received -

The Royal Comeback is in full swing, and we can’t thank you enough for your
support throughout this challenging journey. Your feedback makes us better, and
please know that we are listening. We recognize how important your benefits
are — and we’re delighted to announce that several benefits that were
temporarily paused are coming back for sailings departing on or after
September 1, 2021, with some small adjustments.

DIAMOND LOUNGE IS FULLY OPENED

We’re making sure our Diamond members and above have more space reserved
just for them, as we fully open the Diamond Lounge. More of our valued
members will be able to enjoy this space and catch up with fellow members.

TOP TIER & MILESTONE EVENTS ARE BACK

Our Top Tier Event designed to recognize our new Pinnacle Club members and
those achieving milestones returns on every sailing for Diamond Plus and
Pinnacle Club members to enjoy.

DAILY BREAKFAST IS SERVED

As a Pinnacle Club member, you’ll enjoy daily complimentary breakfast in our
Specialty Dining venues onboard.

DEBUTING NEW PINNACLE CLUB LOUNGE

While access to Suite & Concierge Lounges remains temporarily paused for our
Pinnacle Club members, we are happy to introduce a new Pinnacle Club Lounge
for nightly gatherings from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Our top tier members will enjoy
light hors d'oeuvres and full bar service in a dedicated venue each night, and
this newly dedicated space will operate through November 1. We will continue
to assess COVID-19 public health conditions and protocols, and you can expect
us to further communicate updates on this benefit as the situation evolves.

NEWLY ANNOUNCED BENEFITS ARE HERE TO STAY

Additionally, the new benefits we recently announced will remain and we
greatly appreciate your positive feedback on the enhancements. As a reminder,
these include the following:

DRINK VOUCHERS

Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members receive beverage vouchers
for drinks up to $13. Each day of the cruise, Diamond members receive four
vouchers, Diamond Plus members receive five vouchers, and Pinnacle Club
members receive six vouchers. These can be used at any bar, at any time, in
the Diamond Lounge during Happy Hour or in our private destinations.
Consider it happy hour all day long!

FLEXIBLE ARRIVAL

As you know, a spaced and scheduled boarding process has been implemented
with everyone’s health in mind for a smooth experience. Flexible Arrival allows
our Pinnacle Club and Suite guests to check in at the terminal no earlier than
one hour before the 30-minute arrival window you select ahead of your sailing,
or one hour after.

SPECIALTY DINING

Pinnacle Club members sailing on Oasis and Quantum Class ships will receive a
$25 dining voucher per member, per sailing to enjoy at any Specialty Restaurant
of their choice.

Thank you for your continued support of Royal Caribbean International®. The
past 18 months have been incredibly difficult for all of us, and we’re excited
to welcome you back and deliver the exceptional vacations you deserve.

Crown & Anchor Society member benefits.

Hello all. On the Sept 25 sailing and had a question for those of you on board. Can you get Specialty Dining food or MDR food to go? Pick up or delivered to room? Room Service menu is limited. Thanks in advance.
Christie

I've seen the MDR put together to go food before, usually for someone that missed dinner because they weren't feeling well. I'm sure if you went to your table and asked they'd put it together for you.

Any info on how the pools/splash pad etc are running?

They are all open and I am sure they have a capacity limit but I have not seen anyone turned away. I will check out the signage when I am up there next time
