It was really fun day.  We did the full South Route and then as far as the 1,000 steps on the North Route.    We opted to then turn around and get back to the ship by 1:30 PM.

I would say it is one of the best bargains  you can book.    It didn't take long to get used to driving the thing after passing a couple on-coming tour buses.

Thanks for sharing some really great  photos with excellent commentary. Enjoyed memories of our  Bonaire visits in the past,  glad more itins include this amazing place!

An excellent book.  I would say required reading if you're going to do a Panama Canal cruise.  You will get a lot more out of cruising the Canal if you've read the book.

It's essential!  Start early as it is a very long book..well worth the effort!

The final part of our day trip was the north route up to 1,000 steps then turned around and dropped the cart off.

I have not been to the ABC's in many years and don't ever think of them. Your pictures and commentary really make me want to go back. You should get some kickback from the tourism department! 🙂

We will be on the equinox in November.   Any special events for elite and elite plus?  Thanks.

The one I look forward to the most is the sail away on the helipad.

did you happen to notice Jim if they offered that for elite plus?

thank you

I didn’t notice anything special being elite, but was also in a suite.  I think the helipad experience on this 9-day was for suite passengers, but could’ve been for others.  Let’s see if Jim knows.

They let you order off the MDR menu in BLU now? Was not previously allowed on S class ships because the kitchens are on different decks !!!

I sailed Aqua class twice in 2018-2019 and once in SS and was able to order off MDR in Blu and also in Luminae, I always asked for the menu.

Thanks.   Iain can be quite the ham.    I post so many pictures of him that he is more recognizable than me and often has people stop him while out and about to introduce themselves.    He enjoys meeting all the folks but never reads CC,  but I keep him up to date with fun things I read.

Could not re-find the post that stated it looked as if you were "in port" the day before embarkation.

Have you learned if the trip is coming back a day early or not?

No plans to return early.   The person who tested positive was just before we left Curacao and delayed our departure by about an hour while they moved the patient off the ship by ambulance.

Captain is on right now with the morning briefing and just his normal announcement and what happened on this day in history.

Sailaway from Helipad was for Suites only.  A Zenith we know was not invited so he enjoyed our more intimate Penthouse Sailaway with much better drinks and snacks.   LOL     We invite Zenith's for sure.

One thing of not is they had a reception for Concierge Pax in sky lounge.

I think it has been ship class dependent.    M-Class they share a common kitchen so no problem.   S-Class the have to go down to a different kitchen so many do not permit.   On E-Class not possible at all even in Luminae
