Princess Cruises Casino Benefits?

Does anyone happen to know what kinds of benefits you get from the Princess cruises casino club? I've been looking all over their website and can't find a list. I know you can get free cruises sometimes, but what about other goodies you can get while you're on a cruise? Is there a list anywhere?

Here is one I found for Celebrity Cruises, but I'm trying to find something similar just for Princess.

I’ve just started cruising with Princess through their casino as I received a couple of free balcony cruises with premiere package and free play.   Don’t think they have levels as other cruise line do.   I know you don’t get free drinks which is not an issue if you have the drink package.  You do accumulate points, but unlike other lines can not be redeemed for free play.  I think points are used only to determine what offers you recieve

From my experience the only benefits that occur are when you book a cruise using an offer.
The benefits each offer includes varies from Princess Plus,  in casino promotions, free play, free drinks in the casino and swag.

Princess doesn’t have tiers. They just have you accumulating points based on coin-in. Then after the cruise you get offers based on your gambling. For example my husband gets offers for a free inside room. Meanwhile my brother in law gets offers for a free balcony room with a beverage package included. And I just remember him gambling more than my husband.

If you get offered a VIP or Prestige Cruise, then there are gifts and other freebies onboard.  I don't know what they are yet but I have a Prestige in October and a VIP in November so I'll know more then!

On our recent VIP cruise the gifts were almost daily. The drinks in the casino are free; they had a drawing for prizes ranging from $500 free play up to $1600 or a free TV. A random draw of cards with only one top prize in the batch. They actually had to do at least two of these but I only got to attend one. After the first round, they put all the cards back in the "draw", so possibly two TVs were given out. Daily prize consisted of sun glasses, beach mat (plastic) a couple other "cheap" items, all beach related. Welcome aboard party was limited to small group because of Covid. We did get a bottle of bubbly and chocolate covered strawberries. Basically, underwhelming and not up to the standards of previous ones. I now have an invite for another one and the offerings look even less inviting. 😞

How much do you have to gamble to get these offers?  And is it for Slots as well as the tables?

Good question about the slots! I only play slots as I don't have the patience for table games, haha.

OK thanks, I was hoping they had a list so we could see what kinds of goodies they offer. Maybe if someone from Princess happens to be reading this, please tell someone to put a list together! Really I just wanted to be able to compare the programs from a few different cruise lines for fun to see what everyone else is offering.

We are doing 2 free Princess casino cruises this year, one was a balcony that we upgraded to a mini suite and the other was a free mini suite, both came with free slot credit too. We booked them last year though and it seems like the offers were better then I guess since not as many people were cruising yet. We were going to wait until we do these 2 cruises and more gambling to see if the offers get any better.

Two or three cruises ago, the casino host gave us a card that was for free drinks in the casino throughout the cruise.  Last cruise, a free balcony that we upgraded, the Plus Package was included, so that was free drinks all cruise long.  Too bad we don't drink, it was a waste!!

Every cruise, we get from our casino host a bottle of sparkling wine and a plate of choco-strawberries.  The wine can range from bathtub to vintage Champagne.  There have been flowers and treats from the kitchens as well, but those could have been Elite or Club Class perks.  (I don't care who they are from, but I wish they would never again stink up my cabin with canapes sitting for hours on a counter!!)

We never know what little "treats" to expect and I kind of like that suspense.

On our last cruise (back in 2017) the casino boss lady was trying to give us a free bottle of wine, but we already had the drink package, so my wife convinced them to give us free speciality dining one night. We went to the steakhouse and it was awesome, and the people at the steakhouse gave us a free bottle of wine too. So I guess that was a double bonus 🙂 We're supposed to get the "Ultimate VIP Treatment" on our next cruise along with our mini-suite, anyone know what the ultimate VIP thing is? Or is that what they call chocolate covered strawberries? 🙂

This might be a really stupid question, but since bingo is run by the casino, does playing bingo count towards anything

unfortunately not!  They might get even more participants if it was!

On our last one got 3 bottles of wine, lots of chocolates, chocolate covered strawberries and things like bucket hats and packing cubes. There were drawings nightly in the casino mostly for free play. The amounts ranged from $100 to over $1,000

Gosh no....never got anything even close to that!  I think most of us have not!  I gamble but not near enough to get anything like that.  Enjoy!

A few weeks ago on CB VIP

-The aforementioned Chocolate Strawberries and Bubbly

-Hot Seat and other ways to earn casino credit.
-Various SWAG- The reuse-able cups were the best.

-Opportunity to get more casino credit. (My Mom got $500 which she thought was one of the lower amounts)

I was on a comped CB B2B2B from 5/14 - 6/4 balcony cabin with Plus included and $100 free play on one leg and $275 free play on another, nothing on the 3rd leg. These were VIP and Ultimate VIP cruises. I received 3 plates of choc/strawberry (some that I gave to Jennifer - Crooners Bar Bartender others I gave to a new cruise friend), a bottle of Prosecco each leg of the cruise, some petit fours, at the meeting in Wheelhouse bar I got $800 free play and free drinks during the meeting (I already had drink package but these didn't count toward the 15 per day). I only went to the drawings twice in the 3 weeks. They gave a couple of gift bags with a duffle/backpack, packing cubes, a hat, sunglasses, deck of cards, a princess flag, a beach mat - they gave me 2 of most of these and I was solo, so extras went to my cabin stewardess. The letter in my cabin said I would get free drinks but was only twice offered one (I didn't pursue it, I had DBP). I spoke to the host twice because I never got a "free" cabin offer at the end of any of the three and was told I would get an offer by going to a website and making a request after getting home. The offer was ok but expected a lot more for the amount of money spent in the casino over 3 cruises. It sounds like I got a lot but I also sail Royal Caribbean and their program is overall better in that it is in writing how many points you need to get various cabin offers so you can point out to the host if you didn't receive something you should have. They also give the bottles of Prosecco and other goodies. Princess casino benefits are like a mystery - you don't know what you have to do to receive them and you never know what you're going to get. Not complaining, just explaining

Kind of like bonuses on the slot machines.  All the firecrackers are lit, the dish is overflowing with gold coins, the pig is huge!, but the bonus just won’t trigger!!

Are these casino offerings (drawings, etc) for anyone who books a casino rate?

Ours wasn’t fully comped

Some of the "offerings" are for VIP Ultimate Cruises only (Usually one or two posted as such) and must be booked through Casino Folks. We have taken many Casion cruises, either as regular offers or as Casino offerings. Somehow we managed to book one of the VIP cruises, without knowing it was one, and asked if we could be included since we had used a casino rate. We were invited to welcome aboard party while they investigated; upon investigation they found we had not booked it as a VIP cruise and we were left out of the rest of the festivities 🙂

The drawings and special events in the Casino are specific to special Casino VIP cruises where they have a host onboard leading these events and activities. These cruises are by invitation and you have to go on one of the specific dates offered. We have done a couple and they are really fun. I won $1000 in one of the drawings one night. On these special cruises there are daily perks, activities and gifts for those in the group.

This differs from the casino rate or casino comped trips that can be booked for any date. Depending on your level of play you may get some special treats onboard, but it doesn't include all the special activities that are included in a VIP cruise. We just did a casino comped cruise on the Royal and during the trip we received chocolate covered strawberries, champagne and a couple of free dinners in the Crown Grille as well as a casino cash credit. DH likes his Craps, so we enjoy the benefits.

I have been on several VIP cruises. It is nice to receive the gifts in your cabin BUT it means that, with more gamblers than normal, the tables and slots will be more crowded. I play Three Card Poker and it can be hard to get a seat at a table. We prefer to go on cruises that are not VIP.
