Who still decorates their cabin and their cabin door?

Going shopping tomorrow to get the decorations for our cabin. I'm just curious, who else does this? If you have some pics available, please post. I'm trying to get some ideas.

Walking from the back elevators to the back of the ship there are 5 cabins decorated on Allure right now on the starboard side. I’m questing there are plenty more also. Try the dollar stores.

I decorated the interior of my parents' cabin for my Mom's birthday on our most recent cruise. The decorations are from Party City. I hung them from the ceiling using magnetic hooks.

I think it's time to bring back the classic door decoration: "Police Line Do Not Cross" in the X formation.  That usually takes the cake.

 I was on the Allure last month and many doors were decorated, if you decide to decorate your door you need to use magnets instead of tape.

One small decoartive magnet on the door so we recognize the room quickly.

Dollar Tree has wall stickers that are easy to apply and remove from the door.  I save the backing that it comes on and reuse the sticker a few times before it becomes damaged.  Easy peasy for $1.25.

We, obviously, hang our flamingo string hanging from our magnetic hooks!

 

We also add a magnetic message board, both to leave messages and to find our room.

we use a bunch of cute magnets to decorate the door. Somebody stole one of them on our latest cruise...

Our door magnet is quite distinctive... of course we usually cruise in October, so it makes a little more sense ...

I have my 11.5 X 8 inch laminated Red Iguana picture that I stick to the door with 4 little magnets, one on each corner. Not only helps me find my room, but reminds me who I am (quite the bonus for us old wine drinkers).

Is finding your cabin really an issue?  You know they put numbers on the cabins so you know which is yours.

I just have a magnet with our last name and the Crown and Anchor level we are, plus smaller anchor magnets with our first name on them.

Mix of Dollar Tree and homemade magnets and did a little more than usual for this door a few months ago.

Really? What a novel idea. I guess it is so much easier to look for room numbers than a big sign on the door. If only there was some way I didn't even have to memorize or look up my number on my seapass card, just know the general area my room is in.....

Sorry - just did not know that remembering your cabin number was such a problem for some people

Yes , a more permanent solution . 

What if someone switched the door decorations with another cabin .😁
