I think I'm going to make a big push for Pinnacle. After spending tens of thousands of dollars for top status I'll get an extra drink each day... and a nifty name tag!🤩

Well, with the cutback in cabin service my good deed will be keeping my cabin neet by picking up my used towels and thowing them out in the passageway along with the dirty dishes and glasses.... name tag upright.

I spend 10s of thousands of $ on a car.  But I do complain, a lot, about $3.20 a gallon of gas.  What am I thinking.  And yes, I spend a lot of hours awake thinking about it.

Heading home for me means heading to an airport so those couple of extras at midnight and bloodies or mimosas in the AM, plus the specialty coffee and a bottle of water for pre-security lines were appreciated.

 

It's six, plus prime in casino. Plus the wife gets me a few during the evening, so mine are often available. Nothing kills a buzz like being told you need to start using tomorrow's allotment around midnight

 

And FWIW, we're still not certain the morning drinks on departure date are gone

I have to agree.  Im not sure I understand the issue.  All they did was change the clock a bit on when it renews.  Ok, maybe they cut the drinks for the last day?   But that is the least of my worries.  I’ve always considered that day 8 anyhow so never assumed they “owed” me any drinks at that point.  We just did the Harmony in a CLS and the 5 drinks a day were great to have.  Between that and the SL I never went for wanting.  SL bartender even brought a couple different beers up without us even asking.

I don't think he was being rude, I think he was just trying to be funny after the comment by someone else regarding their probably intentional mis categorization of a comment.

We like them.

 

We no longer have to face the hoards in the Diamond lounge during happy hour, which would be even crazier with concierge access gone. We can visit when we wish, the masses have reduced, and we can get our drinks anywhere anytime.  Huge benefit.

 

We no longer have to carry around cash to tip, as we understand that the staff don't get any gratuity like they do with drink packages.  We can simply add it to the bill that we are required to sign now, and it shows on  our room charges.

 

All positive from our perspective. 

We’ve been on a couple of cruises since they changed to having us sign for our drinks and only once have we had to sign.  So we still bring tips to give them for each drink.

we usually time it to get off taking in to account how long it will take for us to get to Costco on the way home to get in as soon as it opens and get out before the throngs of people. 😉
