I don't know what came first, the chicken or the egg.  But, it seems that RCCL and I can't believe I'm saying this, seems to follow a lot.  Who started the once-a-day cabin service?  I don't know but I don't think it was RCCL.

MSC is 2x day

We're close to the Chops for our August Wonder Cruise -- deck 9 -- just down a flight of stairs.  I changed the cabin from deck 11 to deck 9 for that reason.

Hi Sherri.  🙂  Yes, we enjoyed Chops as well.  And indeed, it was not because Pinnies were kicked out of CK, met John and Laura in Harmony in there quite often.

Have been on ships where there were a very limited amount of Pinnies, (one with only six of us) and were still invited into Chops.  I think being able to go into Chops for breakfast is my favorite perk. 🥰  One of the best had been on Voyager for our B2B2B this last February.  Waiters were soooo great and always remembered our preferences.

I don't eat italian or any pasta or cooked tomatoes.  I thought about it, but I know I'd have a even harder time finding what I want to eat. No thanks. Have fun.

I might have a harder time controlling my eating on MSC than I do in RCI.

I keep thinking that MSC is the cruise line that is going to get me to stray.

Did you read my review of our May cruise on the Seaside. Looked at through the eyes of someone with nearly 50 Royal cruises. Bottom line: beautiful ship that is very clean; friendly staff; great food in MDR and buffets; anything and everything we asked for onboard was granted with a smile. We did miss our 5 daily drinks but mostly because we use them for water to drink during the day. Only spent about $30/day on booze and the lower cruise price made up for that.

Pasta is a side choice to delicious meals. My wife had broccoli instead. Prime rib, steaks, etc were much better than Royal.

Can you provide a link to your review?

Everything on AD was cheap.  My aft balconies over Christmas were under $700 refundable.

I got an 8 night 4D balcony next February on Adventure for the two of us at $1500 out the door.  I consider that a great deal.

I have as many rcl cruises and twice as many.. so doesnt matter to me how many cruises you have taken.

I've read they have a pasta dish nightly. This to me means one less dish I can eat. I have seen great deals, dont care how service is .. I dislike italian spices. And pasta etc.. I just can't stand it.

I almost did a Panama cruise on msc but chickened out because I was worried I'd go hungry. I am a picky eater. Some nights on rcl I dont eat much. Just unwilling to take the chance. Again i dont care about the price, service etc if i hate the food. I thought that was clear and you came back talking about the things other than food .. seems if you defended other things and not the food, I'm right. MSC not for me. Enjoy. Something for everyone.

I was one and done with them.  Their pricing was better, that's what enticed me but I did not enjoy the experience.  I don't want to rag on all the deficiencies else I stir up the ire of the MSC loyalists but they let us down in several areas.

The constant refrain I hear is when sailing on MSC you have to sail in "Yacht Club".

My thought is if I'm doing that I might as well do Sky Class on Royal.

I know what I like now and Royal fits that bill.

Depending on the # of Pinnacles onboard there may not be a breakfast in CHOPS. We were on for the April 30 cruise with 59 Ps and breakfast was in CK on deck 17....not CHOPS.

Meeeeeeee tooooooo!  But, I must say that I think my days of cruising may be in jeopardy if they don't get their prices and services under control.  I like value for my $.   Raising prices and at the same time reducing services just isn't my idea of a good value.  Unfortunately, a lot of everything in life is going the same way,  But, cruising is a luxury, not a nessicity that I can't do without.  I hate that thought, believe me!

Our recent Oasis sailing had 24 pinnacles and no Chops breakfast.

Sure, each to his own. A majority of our Royal cruises were insides. D+ balcony discounts often make the price too good to pass up though. So we booked an inside Bella experience on MSC. Apples to apples! But they assigned a great midship balcony on deck 13. If I was cruising Sky Class on Royal, MSC would never turn my head. You have the right idea. Enjoy.

We were lucky enough to get an amazing TA tip and are very excited about the pricing. We'll be booking all of our cruises with him. 😊

Check the quotes….he wasn’t responding to your post. He was quoting and responding to Ocean Boy.

I found the breakfast menu in both restaurants to be pretty much identical.  Enjoy both of them.  Just point me in the right direction and I will go there.

I might start wearing it on my t-shirt by the pool.  That really seems to get people wound up.    🤣😇

Reminds me of a Pinnacle on Explorer a few years ago, he was European. Sitting in the suite seats at the pool in his Speedo's and t-shirt with his nametag on it. The only problem I had with him was when myself and the husband unhooked the rope to go in he wanted to see our sea passes and kept saying "Suites and Pinnacles only" so I pulled out my seapass and showed him it was gold and then he shut up. Pain in the butt.🙄

I am getting the feeling that no one is aware that people who are Masters level in the casino have free use of the Suite Lounge and Coastal Kitchen.

It's not just Pinnacles that crowd out the Suite passengers.
