afternoon - Coors light

pre-dinner - chocolate martini

after dinner - belvedere w/ seltzer water & lemon

lots of seltzer water w/ lemon sprinkled in

After watching below deck I cracked and tried an espresso martini, it was very tasty

Morning - Coffee for me, not much of a morning drinker for alcohol!

Poolside - Pirate's punch baby! Or Mai Tai, Bahama Mama, or any other strong cocktail on the rocks!!

Evening  - Just depends how I'm feeling, the Bellini in the MDR or some other bubbly drink on the MDR menu is usually good for me.

Funship when boarding.  Blue Margarita during the day. Parched Pig beer with Guy's Burger.  Evening my go to is a dirty martini from Alchemy. Oh and a glass of Pinot with dinner.  Wow. I may have a problem.

Btw what is in those Funship drinks? I've always seen them, never tried but I'm thinking after reading yalls back and forth I might have to try it for my first drink on embarkation day of my next cruise (next month!!). 🤪

I’m not a day drinker either, tho some days it’s been very tempting! 🤯 I love the Bahama mamas and pirate punch. Caribbean colada when I can find a bar that makes them. That’s for my happy hour! Switch to wine spritzers then usually White Russian before bed. Funships: in all my CCL cruises I’d never had one. Did at a past guest party and they threw me on the floor! I’m a daily drinker and love fruity sweet drinks but this just zonked me! Might be just “one of those things” but not gonna take a chance ever again! CHEERS!

Depends on how good the beer choice is. During the day, if I'm lounging by the pool, any cold one will do but in the evening, it's quality that matters. If there's no good beer available, it'll be a gin & tonic or a whisky based cocktail such as a Manhattan or Old Fashioned.

I need to know what a Funship is!!!

This is the recipe I googled:

Carnival “FUN SHIP” drink recipe:

Ingredients (Alcohol)

  •  1oz Vodka
  •  1oz Rum
  •  ½ oz Amaretto Almond Liqueur
  •  ½ oz Apricot Brandy

Ingredients (Homemade “fruit punch”)

  •  1 oz Pineapple Juice
  •  1 oz Orange Juice
  •  ½ oz Lime Juice
  •  1 splash grenadine syrup
  •  Dash of bitters

Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker (affiliate link) like the copper one used in our “how to” video or mason jar (affiliate link) with a tight lid and serve over ice!

Optional: instead of the above juices, you can substitute 3-6 ounces of store bought fruit punch, but it tastes SO much better made this way!

I'm not sure of all the ingredients, fruit punch and I think there is amaretto and rum.  There is probably other things, too.

Morning - Bloody Mary from Guys BBQ (it's a drink and breakfast all in one!)

Day Drinkin' - Mai Tai, Bahama Mama, Pirate Punch

Dinner - Merlot or Cabernet

Evening - Blanton's or Buffalo Trace on the rocks while playing in the casino or pretty much anything from the Alchemy Bar if not in the casino

Quick Fix from Alchemy Bar but I'm probably in the minority.

Non-alcoholic, I love my POG (Passion Fruit Orange Guava) juice at breakfast. I actually fill a few cups and keep them in the fridge for later in the day.

Is that recipe for one person…I ordered one years ago and there was hardly any alcohol in it…hope it’s changed…but I somehow doubt we would get 3 oz of alcohol in one drink!

I’ve never had one. I’ll be in St Tom in  3 weeks. I am solo. If I drink one will I be able to get back to the ship by myself?!?!?!

My favorite drink on a Carnival ship is Red's Rum Treasure at the Red Frog Rum Bar.  The bartenders always seem to make me a really tasty drink when I order that.  It's the drink I'll carry off onto HMC.

Rum Treasure is not usually my first drink on a cruise these days. It seems like I need to get a Funship next time since I've never had one. Lately it's either a spiced coffee or some rum something.

At the Alchemy Bar, I favor the Sidecar.
