Diamond member sharing room with non diamond

With Celebrity , if an Elite shares a room with non Elite, the benefits are passed thru. Is this true with Diamond members on Royal who share room with non diamond???

Exactly, except boarding... the non Diamonds can of course board with a Diamond as long as they are in the same cabin.

But no drinks, no Diamond Club social hours...

Well we all are constantly advised to HUACA if we don´t like the answer, so it probably works for the boards as well;)

I walked into a "Diamond" lounge or whatever you call it (I'm diamond) for the first time ever and people looked at me like I had two heads. I never felt so out of place and never went back. The people in there were all dressed up and we weren't. I have to laugh now because it was with a friend who was not diamond but I had no clue since I had never gone to the diamond lounge. I won't make that mistake again!

Yes, Celebrity does allow it. I was able to take my Mom with me to the cocktail hour. Actually there weren´t too many people there anyway.

Non Diamond companion does not have access to any of the Diamond benefits. It means that they are not allowed in the DL or get invites to special events.

Even though you may have more points than your hubby you can have your accounts linked and he would share your status and receive all the same benefits as you.

The last time this happened to me was on Legend of the Seas- Jan 2015.

I'm cruising again with someone other than my husband in April, (ha ha that sounds dodgy- just a friend) so I'll keep my eyes peeled!

Wow! Me too. I had no idea Celebrity allowed that. I'll be on my first Celebrity cruise in 2019, so that's nice to know.
