...I am cutting and pasting the e-mail that just arrived. Just in case any of you have an interest in booking anything sailing this year. ;) As soon as I get the details about which voyages are the sale ones, I'll cut and paste again. I wonder which ones they've chosen. Less than 24 hours to guess!

Thanks Deirdre for posting this. After 14 Azamara cruises (and signing up for email numerous times) we still get nothing.

What worked for me was to go to my mail account and create a sub account. Then I signed up for emails & brochures using the sub account and a name I made up. Brochures were to be sent to my home address. As soon as I did this, emails and brochures started arriving like clockwork. Give it a try.

Thank you so much Deirdre, likewise we have both signed up countless times and received nothing - this will make a difference. We had a huge surprise when we received the 2015 brochure: the first EVER!!!

Thank you so much for posting, it's so frustrating not to get emails from Azamara. Oceania and Seabourn email me all the time.

Try putting in your email address again, using the "Request a Brochure" button in the top right corner of the website. I believe they've straightened out the problem, but just to be safe I'd enter it again. (Q. which country are you in?)

Is this correct...they are ony for the 2014 cruises? I've looked at 2015 and didn't see much even for the fall. I think I've talked a friend into trying ACC and we were looking at the Med sailings for 2015.

Bonnie...I really wish ACC would do more ports in Sicily on one of their Med cruises.

Hi Bonnie thanks for your prompt reply. I'm in the UK and I did just by chance enter my details again about three weeks ago. I suppose it's possible the upcoming sale is just for certain markets.

Also in the UK and with no communication from Azamara so have, yet again, gone through the above procedure. The response states a brochure will be mailed in 2-4 days. We'll live in hope!

I did a another email register earlier this week. Still nothing. The only thing that seems to be AmAzing is how poorly the communication is coming or not from Azamara. I get many emails and brochures every week from many other travel companies. Many of which I have responded to...and booked. Oceania, Seabourn, Regent, Windstar, Vantage, Odysseys Unlimited, Viking, Celebrity....just to name a few. If I were the head of Azamara, I would not look kindly on this lack of communication. Azamara should fire their IT group and reorganize their customer relations experience. Everything associated with them is far from the desired business model. Every time I get a brochure or receive an email. there is a chance that it may persuade me to book a trip. I just booked a trip. The brochure was gorgeous. When I called the company direct, the booking experience was excellent. They answered all my questions graciously.

Bonnie, I've followed your suggestion but wonder if you could follow dln929's lead and post the new e-mail offers on this forum. Just in case of course :).

I tried this - and got a confirming email this morning telling me my brochure was on the way. It then said :

I clicked on the link and it said that it Internet Explorer couldn't find it. It took me to bridgetrack.com instead. Bridgetrack, to quote their website, "BridgeTrack is a digital marketing suite that gives you the ability to optimize your marketing efforts across the full spectrum of digital channels.

 

I think Azamara has more work to do to optimize its marketing efforts.

But hey, at least I got an email this time.:)

I got website is not available. When I re-entered my email and requested a brochure and future emails I never received a confirming email. We are in the U.S.

Just to let you know that my e-mail notification of the sale came at 11 am, only minutes after I posted! Now the hard part comes for me as I try my most persuasive wiles on my husband to see if I can get him to use any more vacation days this year...;)

 

I looked through the sale voyages and compared some of the prices to the opening prices in my 2014 catalog and there are some excellent savings to be had, particularly if you're willing to sail in an inside or ocean view cabin.

I wonder if Azamara realise what an asset they have in you - I for one really value the time and effort you put into posting useful detailed info

You could not make it up if you tried!!!

Azamara produce a promotion and advise all (some as I have not had email yet) customers.

On board guests get email BUT Azamara shore-side do not even bother to let ships know.

I am sure you are beginning to regret having to be the apologist for shore-side.

 

 

Back to the fire fighting I am afraid.

Does this promotion allow both shareholder credit and Open certificate /OBC to be used on it.

Is this promotion just for North American guests?

 

 

No - we booked last night for the cruise on 1st Nov 2014. The booking (started online) had to be completed by phone, though, which was odd.
