"LIVE" from the VISION of the SEAS With Trainman-2 & Judith

Recommended Posts

That is odd about the nursery hours. I wonder if that couple booked a ship excursion. I've always seen them more than happy to take $ to watch the kids even more so if they can get more $ from me on an excursion. Though with how few kids they have I wonder if they knew that and staffed down for the 10 days (not that I know where others would be but maybe training.) I agree with you Jim it does seam strange.

Hope Judith is doing better and enjoy the rest of your trip.

Thanks for letting us all cruise along with you. :) (again RCL why don't you just give this guy free internet I swear you make money after EVERY one of his "live" reports)

Judith is feeling much better and has started eating again!

Tonight is the Second Formal Night!

We went to the Windjammer for dinner and Judith had small portions of things she thought she could digest easily.

I had the Carved Pork which was Excellent!

Everything else I had was good. It was simply cooked the RCI way, not the wai I am used to and expect.

I was reminded to not put a roll on the same plate as gravy unless I planed to use the roll for gravy sopping.

As we left the Windjammer I passed my cigarettes and lighter to Judith and told her that I was going to stop in the Handicapped Restroom for a few moments and that I would join her in the "Other Activities" area on the Pool Deck Shortly.

Luckily, someone at RCI had the foresight to install telephones in all of the Handicapped restrooms.

When I was ready to leave, I could not get the door to unlock!

Luckily I maintained my coolness, picked up the phone, and asked to be released from the restroom. I was told that they would send someone up immediately.

I continued to maintain my personal coolness while I waited for help to arrive.

The alternative to coolness would have been to throw a total "Hissy Fit" accompanied by Screaming, Yelling, and Beating the Hell out of the Door with my Cane while visions of Being on 60 Minutes and Free Cruses For Life danced through my head.

The lock smith arrived after about 15 minutes but couldn't get the door open so he told me he was calling for more assistance.

Shortly an Officer arrived with more keys and he was able to get the door open.

Just as I walked out of the rest room after 37 minutes (remember, Judith had the cigarettes and lighter) Judith showed up and told me she was worried about me.

The Officer apologized for my inconvenience and I headed back to the Pool Deck with Judith for a well deserved Smoke Break!

But I will always wonder if I had worked up a really Spectacular "Hissy Fit" if I could have gotten a Free Cruise! :D

I've had a difficult time figuring out how to get some of those handicap restroom doors open. At least there's a warm seat! [emoji6]

Glad Judith is feeling better and better.

Love those sunset pics,

I also once had an "issue" with a broken lock. After discovering there was not enough clearance underneath the door to make my escape, and the chances of scaling over the top were slim to none, I confess I started having a panic attack of major proportions! And no phone anywhere in site! Thanks for this evenings laugh and some of the best sunset photos I have seen on CC!

I really wanted to follow this review but for every one entry, there is 20 or 30 great pic one line posts. It makes it really hard to follow. I wish there was a way to filter to just the entries I wanted.

That would be the nature of any LIVE review....scroll, scroll. Some are worth the effort!

If you want to read only Trainman's posts, click on his name and then on "find all posts by" and all of his posts will be there in order.

Thanks for the live review! I have one question I am hoping you can help me with. Does the casino on board have a Craps table? I know you may not be the gambling type but I would be very grateful if you could help me answer this question!

Thanks in advance!
