mjmcgove Posted September 24, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2016 I have about $900 left to pay by february, should i check in now, or should I wait until all of the balance is paid?
luv2trvlnow Posted September 24, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2016 I would check to see if you are able to choose your check in time. If so choose your time while it is still available. You do not have to be paid in full or do any of the other check in online to be able to choose your check in time.

Rare Saint Greg Posted September 24, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 24, 2016 I've been checking in enough to pick my check-in time, dining, and bed arrangement....then I enter my passport info and setup my expense account later.

terri-eddie Posted September 24, 2016 #8 Share Posted September 24, 2016 I do the check-in as soon as I can, but I don't print any documents until I'm paid in full. The earlier you complete your online check-in, the better the time you are able to book for checking in at the port.
cruznjan Posted September 24, 2016 #9 Share Posted September 24, 2016 Start your check-in early to get your preferred dining and staggered check-in times. You can fill in the rest at your leisure.

Moosevilleco Posted September 24, 2016 #12 Share Posted September 24, 2016 I generally do everything you can to check in once I have my plane booked. Makes it easier to complete once you know your flight times if you have to fly. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Florings Posted September 24, 2016 #13 Share Posted September 24, 2016 (edited) I always check in as soon as I can - even a year in advance! You just can't print the boarding passes until it is paid in full. But might as well get everything else done! bakersdozen12 Posted September 24, 2016 #14 Share Posted September 24, 2016 (edited) I check in as soon as my hotel and flights are booked. Which is always before final payment. Muumuu Posted September 28, 2016 #18 Share Posted September 28, 2016 As soon as I hang up from booking with my PVP I am adding it to my cruise manager. Then I do online checkin. Makes it more real

tandemcruzr Posted September 28, 2016 #20 Share Posted September 28, 2016 As others have said, you can do your on-line check-in right after you book. Just a heads up -- we had checked in on-line and a few months later we got a notice from our credit card company that due to a security breach, our credit card would be replaced with a new one. Forgot to update our on-line check-in, but thankfully our PVP caught it and called us to fix it at final payment. Whew ---:D

cmukid87 Posted September 28, 2016 #22 Share Posted September 28, 2016 I check in up to picking dining and port check-in times. I don't waste my time until i'm under 50 days out. Once I officially check in everything gets printed and is ready to rock-n-roll for embarkation day.
terri-eddie Posted September 28, 2016 #23 Share Posted September 28, 2016 Website won't let you print any boarding passes until you're paid in full. Well, then, I guess it's a good thing I didn't even try! Seems logical.
