Who christened the Epic for instance (without looking it up!)? I can recall Pitbull for Escape, some cheerleaders for the Getaway.. and can hardly remember Breakaway.

Back in August we speculated that the casino will have an enclosed smoking section based on this added wall on the deck plan:

 

 

I’m not sure if we’ve noticed this yet, but if you look closely at the far-left side of this rendering of the Skyline bar...

 

 

...you’ll see a vertical line between what appears to be two panes of glass...

 

 

At least within the renderings, NCL has solved what many consider to be a big flaw with the BA/BA+ ships... and that’s the stale smoke smell lingering throughout 6-7-8 Ocean Place.

I am an ex smoker. Yeah for me! Will the non smoking casino have same tables, slots etc. I am sure with all new innovations that the "smoker's" casino will have really good ventilation. 80 days. Saving my money for the tables.

It’ll be interesting to see if this is the first step to addressing this big customer complaint (smoke in 6-7-8 corridor). Keep in mind, the Breakaway is heading into drydock in a few months. I think it makes perfect sense that this is part of the “refresh” of BA/BA+ ships.

And I LOVE that the main casino is NON smoking.

The glass-spotting was a late speculation. We earlier wondered if that was a separate smoking section when then deck plans showed a wall where there previously wasn’t one.

Imagine... the NEW smell lofting up through 6-7-8 Oceanplace, the smell that’ll hit you as soon as you board... will be CREPES! I’m hoping we can all agree that’s pretty spectacular.
