free 15 day cruise on website! crazy error... but 199 for 17 days legit!

no is still like that under my account but i cannot get it to book at zero..darn

 

actually i'm wrong. .on the selection page it says 2000 but when i click thru its free..dang!

put a hold on till midnight. this is nuts. got confirmation and everything

 

can they back out for pricing error or do they have to give me free cruise if i actually can do it

princess TA confirmed the guarantee room is free. just pay the tax

 

sadly there are many other factors at work here that mean i likely cannot do it. which sucks. would have been 1074 with flight. tax. soda pack and grats.. sigh. guess another deal of a lifetime i have to pass up. (insert big frowny face here)

I don't see those prices. Are you sure this isn't a casino offer or something? The one you show as free is $1,049 for me. The one you show for $199 is $1,299. I am logged in and those are the prices I see.

I saw a one night cruise earlier this year for taxes only ... other than that, the cruise fare was zero charge, $19 pp for a balcony. If I hadn't already been booked on another sailing during the same exact time, I would have gone for it. It took you all the way through to final payment for the zero charge. I bet they filled that one rather quickly!

just got VM from princess. mistake. 1700 for the inside but i can have a free balcony upgrade. i notice new confirmation deleted the 'launch fare' phrase.

 

funny thing is IT didnt correct it yet. i still show zero when i try to book it new again

Booked a cruise this morning princess customer service called me this afternoon they will not honor it instead they offered a balcony at a reduced price after 35 cruises with Princess I'm done

 

 

So you are giving up on a cruise line because they made an error in on-line pricing? They could have just responded with "too bad" but instead offered you at a balcony cabin. Was the price of the balcony cabin the same as the price of an interior as mentioned by another poster? If so, you don't seem to really want go on the cruise; you just wanted to get something for nothing. Do you know of any other cruise line that would have honored an obvious on-line mistake?

We had a similar situation the other day when checking the pricing on a cruise we have booked in July. The price online was showing a $700/pp price drop from what we paid. Sent screen shots to our TA who couldn't find the same rates; she called Princess who couldn't find the same rates & weren't interested in our screen shots & wouldn't honor the price. Sounds like they're having a few issues this week.

still listed as zero! shouldnt you get free cruise if they had 18 hours to fix and they didnt? :)

 

oceanview is 1349 and balcony 3379 and i guess it was a "deal" for me paying 1700 for solo balcony in the end.

Bait and switch indicates intent. I have never seen Princess do that. I have seen a number of what are probably mistakes in pricing, but I did not expect they would be honoured.

 

I do agree with you that IT problems like this need to be dealt with, but trying to cash in on them, knowing they are a mistake, and then getting angry is not a reasonable approach.

0 for 15 day cruise, i probably would have booked on the spot but when you click through its over 2000

 

the 199 for the 17 day is legit, i clicked through and got to the final screen with the pricing

 

Booked. Paid in full. :D

When you see a good deal like what was stated you book and pay for it get a confirmation number then you have to call the job and change your vacation to accommodate the cruise and then later get a phone call from a rude customer service rep that it was mistake that they're not honoring it and if I don't like it there's other cruise lines and you're gonna tell me I don't have the right to be angry ?????
