Branzino hands down!

Their seafood is usually very good. I alternate between the branzino and the grilled prawns.

I have found that the Carbonara varies greatly by ship.  On Jewel, it is amazing!  On Adventure, not so much!  In my experience, it can only be found on the “newer” Giovanni’s menu which many ships don’t want/have.

I may have to rethink my strategy... save the steak for Chops, and enjoy the seafood here.  The problem is, I hear the osso buco calling out to me in the distance. 😬

OK, that looks outstanding.  My previous Italian experience was Jamie Oliver's on Anthem.  It was OK, albeit strange.  These appetizers look a lot more appealing!

The Gorgonzola gnocchi was one of the BEST things I have EVER eaten- on or off a ship.   Absolutely delicious!!

That’s true pretty much everywhere unfortunately.    We are going on Harmony next month and it will be interesting to see how my memories get messed with.

Unless I am mistaken, Harmony does not have a  Giovanni‘s table, they have Jamie’s Italian

Filetto di Manzo Rustico & Gamberetti alla Ligure.   They are always too happy to bring me both. 🙂

 

I do remember the good ole' days of a plate full of freshly shaved prosciutto... I would love to see them bring the slicer back.
