On Freedom, was that really just a week or so ago?, I would sit out there while John caught up on work. So nice! FWIW, we were asked by our hair stylist to postpone our appointments for 2 weeks as we had been “out of the country.” San Juan, St. Thomas and the ABC Islands. The groomer agreed to take Jana but met us in the parking lot with a leash, didn’t want her to be wearing her own. I passed Jana through the window and they took her straight to the tub. I do understand the groomer because she has lung issues already and can’t take any chances. But it is a weird feeling.

Ricardo Montalban said that he happened to be in a play in Detroit and a Chrysler executive's wife I believe saw him when they were coming out with the new "small Chrysler" Cordoba. He wanted to pronounce it COR-doba as it is Spain, not Cor-DOBA. I tried to say it the Spanish way all week

ATG Posted March 23, 2020 #1704 Share Posted March 23, 2020 I remember that look. We had a cairn terrier. It’s amazing how much less dog there is when they’re wet. 1

I can still here Ricardo say "Cordoba" I had a Cordoba with crushed Corinthian leather! That car had some great power with its 400 4 barrel. Was a very good car that lasted me many years.

Seemed to remember cars like that in the 70s

I have crushed Corinthian leather. Just silly! My best friends parents had a Chrysler with crushed red velvet seats. On the trunk it had the word "CHRYYLER" in individual letters. Quality was so bad in the 70s that they couldn't even get the company name right and it made it all the way to a driveway in Ohio.
Rare John&LaLa Posted March 24, 2020 Author #1725 Share Posted March 24, 2020 (edited) Let's make some cupcakes First up, the infamous puppy Keep in mind, this is my first time ever piping, and Laura has already done it once Just the three of us. Laura, myself, and the instructor Maricel Level off the chocolate cupcake, cut the vanilla cupcake in half and trim the sides so it looks like a pyramid Pipe the top of the chocolate cake, place vanilla on top, affix candy lime to the front (this is the snout) pipe the top, use stars on the back side and long strokes at the front Laura is using to much frosting in my opinion She's already starting to list There may have been wine involved Instructors work, note the tail as well add 4 swooping strokes to cover the candy lime and then place chocolate dot on the top of it add M&M's Add eyebrows and remaining two chocolate drops for the ears. Mine are to close Pipe around the ears making points See what I mean about to close now Well, Laura got the ears right. Hers weighed twice as much as mine did All three at the end, I held my own My biggest takeaway from the piping is this. Don't hold the bag to much, it gets soft fast Next up, Pat and I make cheeseburgers.🍔 Edited March 24, 2020 by John&LaLa
