Nice sunny day and 62°F.

I called at the Dermatologist this morning.

I was told I have a basal cell carcinoma on my face and put on the waiting list to get it removed.

Take care.

Graham

Sorry to hear that,Graham .I know how you feel as I have had several .

We DVR everything. Dish network has a great dvr .

We DVR everything because we don’t want to sit through commercials.  When I hear someone talking about a funny commercial, I usually don’t know what they are talking about.
My daughter’s family has Dish. There has been a couple of times when we have been away from the house and want to watch a game.  I would connect to their Dish through the Dish app on the iPad.  You can even set the the DVD on the app when away from the house.

Graham...I have had four surgeries for those.  Hence avoiding the sun and covering up a lot since then.  😮

It's no big deal really, not like the really bad one...Melanoma. That is the one we all hope to avoid!

When I had the one done next to my nose they did a "Mohs" surgery, which is used for facial surgery.  Leaves less of a scar.  The other 3 are obvious scars.  I don't wear sleeveless shirts now.  😉

I had Mohs surgery several times. One was on an ear and I had a skin graft .The doctor used skin from my chest.

When I was young I was a sun worshiper .When we are in the Caribbean I wear long pants and sometimes a jacket which tends to look a bit strange.

Charlie has had quite a few also.  He had Mohs surgery on his ear.  Numerous cancers on the face but we have a fantastic dermatologist so he has had no problems afterwards.  As Pat says at least not Melanoma.

I also have a fantastic Dermatologist. He referred me to a Moh’s Specialist who is a great doctor and nice person.

I have a Nov.2 appointment with my dermatologist .I have 4 growths which I am sure will be biopsied.

I can’t even get my feet around eating veggie burgers.  Years ago, when they first came out, I was at a restaurant and ordered one thinking I was ordering some fancy named hamburger. I took a bite expecting a burger.  I took a second bite thinking the the first bite just surprised me.  From there on I filled up on fries.

I love veggie burgers .I eat them 3-4 times a week, all different kinds.

We also dvr judge Judy currently have a least 20 episodes, I don’t think they are making any new shows, Judy has a new judge show coming out soon. Dish has at least do the taping capacity of directtv, I switch back and forth between the two.

I watch Judge Judy on Youtube daily.

I'm sorry she didn't bring her bailiff, Byrd to her new show.  They were together approx. 30 years.  He said he would love to join her new venture, before she picked someone else.

We were surprised also that he will not be in new show, just read he was making about 4K per episode and has net worth over 3 million so he is not hurting.

I watched Byrd's interview where he said that he and Judge Judy were friendly but not friends in so much as they had never socialised together or been to her house.

Caden’s TSOTD St. Maarten…. Wonder how he got that.

If we can’t get turkey from the store for Thanksgiving, Caden is the guy we will count on.  Last turkey season Caden was able to hunt for the first time.  He got one his first day.  They went out again the next day and he got two turkey with one shot!

Caden turned 7 last month. While we were on our Cruise Caden was able to go bow hunting with his dad for the first time.  They set up in a stand that his Dad and his dad’s father used to hunt from on their farm they got for hunting.  From that stand Caden got his first deer on a special day, the 1st anniversary of his grandpa’s passing. It was so special to receive pics and video of their excitement when we on the cruise.  The next weekend Caden and his dad went out again and Caden got his second deer.  Sure looks like Caden will carry on the family tradition.

We are in the process of converting our Den to a bedroom. The reason being that if in the future we will need a home health aide there is no place for that person to sleep.

We are doing a temporary conversation of our dining room to a bedroom.  Sharon’s mom is coming for a couple weeks and doesn’t do stairs very well.

I usually try to be a positive person, but today I was NEGATIVE.  I think it had something to do with this special booth I had to go in.

Susan is having a NEGATIVE day too.

All checked in for tomorrow’s flight.  Now if SW holds up their part of the bargain.  Bags are packed.

I will relax when we land in Ft. Lauderdale. 😀😀

We do the exact same thing, but with TiVo.  Love the ability to skip through the commercials, often automatically.  Then there are the times when we didn't understand what was said, and we back up a few seconds to replay it.  We love today's technology.
