I don't have Cable, and do not have Bravo, but I now have Peacock, which does have Below Deck.  I have been binge-watching BD and am in the middle of Season 3.😁   What Season is BD up to these days?

Below deck is 9 seasons, below deck med will begin airing season 7 soon and below deck sailing just finished airing season 3.

I just finished watched last episode last night.   So happy Daisy didn't hook up with Gary.  Marco is an amazing Chef.  I hope he is successful with his restaurant in LA.

BD in Thailand has some amazing scenery. There was a lot of drama with that crew. Rhylie can't just take an order and shutup. Laura can't just do her job either/

Had Kraken last night in Coco Logo. I am happy that I could turn you on to that great rum.

Since you stated that you wanted to start your own You Tube channel for cruising I just wanted to give you some advice coming from a person who has done video production for the last 40 years. Robotic voices are a turn off to viewers. You will get more views if you use your own voice and make it conversational. People want to hear your take on things. Robots are not personal, you can be personal. If you say you don't have the time how do you expect anyone else to take the time to watch your video? I'm not trying to be mean. I'm just trying to help you produce the best video you can for your audience.

Totally agree. If I start to watch a video with a computer generated voice I stop watching.

I love this series. It's so good.

Below Deck 9 seasons

Below Deck Med 6 Seasons

Below Deck Sailing 3 Seasons

Below Deck Down Under 1 Season

Below Deck Adventure Season 1 Coming

Ashley was a mess. I can understand why she ditched the reunion show even though she signed a contract to appear. She knew she was going to get a lot of grief.

I know, and I don't take it that way, I actually appreciate it. That's one thing I'm changing for my next video, since I'll have a little more free time.

I am playing catch up on this thread.

@Momof3gurlz

We did pre-cruise and post-cruise extended stays in San Juan.  Our first one was at the Intercontinental Resort in the Isla Verda area, but I understand this resort is under a new name now.

The second time, we were at the Embassy Suites in the Condado area. In both areas, we used the public busses when we wanted to go to OSJ.

They were both nice at the time, but sine we did those stays 16 and 12 years ago, things have likely changed since then.

Good afternoon from our garden in North East England where it is sunny and 74°F.

I hope everyone is well and having a nice Independence holiday weekend.

Take care and stay safe.

Yesterday was our beach day at Presque Isle in Erie.  The beaches were not as busy as I thought they would be for a Friday before the holiday weekend.

We did manage a small Sand sculpture

Although I found a way to repurpose Lime and Coconut drink buckets as sand buckets, I would have rather had the drinks in them.

We did have to stop at Hank’s custard stand on the way home.

The white van was filled with Amish, as their driver stopped with them, after their day of work.  You can still see one in line, although he must have left his hat in the van.  Their clothing is pretty distinctive.

All in all, it was another great day, and we managed to miss the rain.

The first Skyline stop I remembered to just get a small 5 Way if I am getting a couple coney dogs.  This time I got a regular 5 Way and 1 Coney Dog.  Way to much.   So much for losing 10 lbs the last few weeks.

@bobmaclibertyI had stayed at La Concha with a co-worker of mine when I was 18.  It was my first time on an airplane.  Anyway, I loved La Concha so much, that Jim and I spent a week at La Concha on our Honeymoon, before flying to St. Thomas, where we stayed at the Pineapple Beach Hotel, which I believe, is no longer there.  We stayed in a beach house.

While on a Tour in Puerto Rico in April, I mentioned La Concha to the driver, and he said that we had already passed the hotel.  I sure would've liked to have seen what it looks like, 51 years after my stay there.

Your post intrigued me, so I did some research.  The hotel has had an interesting history.  I found this old picture, guessing from the 60s, that shows the original La Concha Hotel, which opened in 1958.

San Juan Puerto Rico Hotel Beach Cabana Club La Concha Vintage Postcard K62756 - Mary L. Martin Ltd. Postcards

Here is the hotel today.  The original building is still architecturally a lot like it was, although it had a major update done.  The huge seashell structure over the restaurant on the beach is still there.  The suite tower on the right in the picture below is new and now contains the casino.

According to Wikipedia, the original La Concha Hotel was united with the Condado Beach Hotel just down the beach to the west (now the Condado Vanderbilt) in 1973 and the combined entity became the Hyatt Puerto Rico.  In 1976, Hilton took over the property and built a convention center between the 2 hotel buildings, making it one large building.  It was then called the Condado Beach La Concha Convention Center.  The whole thing was taken over by Carnival Cruise Line and renamed to The Condado Beach Trio.  The La Concha wing of the complex was closed in 1995 and the Condado Beach Hotel wing was closed in 1997.  Both properties were abandoned for years.  The convention center between the original hotel buildings was demolished to make the park that now sits between the separate hotels.  Renaissance Hotels eventually bought the La Concha building, did a $200M renovation, and reopened in 2007.  Our room in the original building was very modern, and the public spaces were beautiful.  They added the $100M Suites Tower in 2010.  The Condado Vanderbilt reopened in 2012 after a $270M renovation.

Since you said that you stayed there 51 years ago, I'd guess that you were there before it was combined with the Condado Beach Hotel and was a lot like the first picture above.

Ah, the things that you have time to do in retirement. 😁

Other than my daughters, this is what I miss most about Cincinnati.  My standard order was a coney with everything and a 4-way bean.  Definitely a lot of food and DEFINITELY not very healthy.

Thanks, OB.  With the way I've been watching BD, I just may catch up to everyone.  The Season I'm watching right now, has Captain Glenn, Daisy, Gary, Colin, Ashley (I sure don't care for her at all) and Scarlet had just joined the crew.

That is most recent season of Bd sailing.  I just watched last episode last night.   Ashley is a mess!

Looks great!!!   Love zucchini.  I just picked our first eggplant and cucumbers.   Should have some nice ripe tomatoes any day.    I had to put more stakes up for tomatoes today.  They are growing so big this year.   Pictures to come

Looks like a nice beach day.   Great job on the sand turtle😃

I never understood why the Amish wear black in the summer.

It is a good thing you posted pictures of food with your posts about 5-way and 4-way’s.   My mind was still back on what @John&LaLa posted about a 3-way that caused the Carnival fight. 😏
