thanks for the quick response Bird, guess my first sop will be at the Matre D when I board if that isn't changed in the near future, to get a dining assignment changed for early dining.

Did you notice if the Diamond club was open and how they handled drinks if it was?

This happened on the last several cruises we did on the Harmony.  It is the reason we have gone totally back to traditional early dining.

Looks like there is a bar and the main restaurant close to the over the water cabanas.

The overwater cabanas are a hike from the restaurant. Both those on the left and those on the right. Which is why you have the waiters on bicycles deliver your lobster to you.

On the Harmony, there are separate dining rooms for MyTime dining. You’re not squeezing in around early and late diners.

Royal is really pushing their app as the sole source of information. They do not leave paper copies of the Compass in your stateroom. Hard copy is available for the technology challenged. A8137E0F-4746-44A9-93A6-FDFAC17ACBCA.thumb.jpeg.53a7eafdd9fe4bc2f57ef28c961114c2.jpeg

Where do you get the hard copy for technology challenged?

@BirdTravelsDo you know if they have vegetarian options at Beach Club? I'm sure my daughter can make do with the appetizers and dessert, but hoping they have an option for her. Me... I'll take the lobster please!

If you let the Maître D abroad the ship know in advance, I bet they will make it happen for her at the Beach Club.

Sorry, I do not know. It is a common request, so I am sure they have vegetarian options beyond the salad.

TY for sharing your travels.

On the wine list you posted I think I will try MERLOT #275.

For $3 a glass it might be pretty tame.

Safe travels.

I saw this, too, & thought it could be my kind of bar tab 😜.  I’m willing to try $3 a glass merlot!!!

The picnic food is a bit better than the hot dogs, hamburgers and BBQ chicken (and tacos) in the main buffets.

Can’t decide on an appetizer? Have them all! this kinda replaces the salad bar which is closed due to COVID protocols.

that lobster sandwich sounds amazing.    I don't remember that being on last year's menu.

For me the Traditional dining is just way to slow, I don't want to have to sit for an hour and a half or more just to eat dinner, that is why going early to "My Time" was so great.

It was. But you never notice it because it is in that colored bar that you think is some warning about eating undercooked meat.

Oh those menus - how's come it used to be that I might have trouble choosing what I wanted to now wanting to choose everything on the menu? 😁 I'm going to be in trouble - I better get busy looking up clothes that can s-t-r-e-t-c-h!

I was just thinking the same thing. It will be very hard to choose.

I know there is technically a separate dining room for My Time however they now utilize that dining room to seat some early traditionals and do not even start letting My Time diners into the dining room until 6:45 at the earliest.

So those who were used to eating early on My Time are now trying to be the first in at 6:45 along with all those on My Time who usually eat at 7ish.  Combine all those people together at the dining room door makes for a huge mess.

we sailed eight times on Harmony and after dealing with this for the first several sailings we changed to traditional so we can eat early and not have to fight that huge crowd….
