Will Carnival show the Monday Night Football games? If so would they be in the room, sports bar, or pool side big screen?

Generally the sports bar, cabin, and casino. They also show sports in the Pig and Anchor, at least they were on the Horizon. Never seen a game on the big screen.

Only time I've seen a game on the big screen was on embarkation day before sail away.

They show family movies at night on the big screen so don’t count on it there.

Monday night football is on espn.  I don't think that channel is on the cabin tvs.  You will have to watch in the sports bar or the casino bar.

And the sports bar fills up quick.  We usually grab a table at least an hour ahead of time.

They can show it anywhere they want to pay for it, so Sports Bar, and maybe other bars if the demand is there. ESPN is not standard in the cabins and neither is network TV. They priced themselves out of the market. Let the CD know your desires and maybe they can get Miami to approve.

NFL playoff games and the biggest college bowl games are sometimes shown on the big screen, in my experience.  IIRC, some regular season NFL and college games are shown there in the afternoon when there's no real movie competition. There's a better chance of it being shown if it's a local game for the embarkation port (e.g., Texans for Galveston departures).

And this season it will be broadcast on espn and espn2 with different announcers.  espn2 will feature Peyton Manning who always is witty, although he seems to enjoy it when people don't get his more subtle humor.  But he balances it out with silly stuff like "aww, don't listen to him, he's our drunk kicker" comments.  Eli will be on too.  Although nobody does football like Tony Romo.

I guess I just haven’t cruised enough! Looks like I need to remedy that. Id really enjoy seeing some foozball on the big screen

Horizon and Panorama certainly do. What they lack now is a casino bar.

Seems like it is hit or miss.... I was surprised the Mardi Gras doesn't have one. The Dream class ships don't seem to have them either.

But you are definitely correct, the ships between the Dream class and the Mardi Gras all seem to have them.

I guess they won't be able to get rid of the casino bars on Dream class.

Depending on what the ship has they will show it in the sports bar, casino, red frog pub. I saw someone said cabin. Cabins haven’t had espn or locals for a few years.

If you are sailing out of New Orleans and the saints are on prime time, they will put it on the big screen. If you are sailing out of Galveston and the Texans or Cowboys are on prime time, they will show it on the big screen. I don’t know about other ports.

Dream is where they took it away. That’s a big problem only bring able to watch sports at the casino bar on the Dream. If a big game is on people will pull up chairs and totally block the walkway.

They tried to somewhat fix that on Breeze and Magic because the red frog pub sort of doubles as a sports bar.

Vista, Horizon, and Panorama got the sports bar back. It was rebranded the heros bar on panorama.

Now on Mardi Gras with everything thing they have, there is no bar to watch sports at. They downgraded the hero’s bar to a hero’s room tucked away in the back of the smokehouse with two big TVs but no bar. I think it’s a problem they will try to fix on celebration. People are going to be raising heck when football season starts.

Or soccer when Europeans start cruising out of the US again. They always packed the sports bar when soccer was on.
