Love your review we will be sailing on Liberty next May.

Can you verify if Starlink is up & running I saw this posted a couple of days ago:

Based on reader reports, Starlink appears to be working on Liberty of the Seas and Enchantment of the Seas.

Photos of the Starlink receivers onboard, and verified that the ship is now offering the internet service as of a few days ago.

Glad our IT dept has spent 2hrs trying to fix my work computer.  Meant I can catch up on the fab reviews like yours.  Glad your accident does not prevent from you from enjoying the finer things in life on board.   Be warned having a solo cabin is addictive.

Don’t get me wrong I love my wife more than anything but it is nice to be able and hog the bed!

Desert warm hazelnut cake and an espresso to wake me up. Dinner was more than an hour and a half but I don’t mind. I like leisurely dinners. First night in the MDR and I am very pleased. I’m happy that we made reservations every night for this same table and wait staff.

Bourbon selection on Liberty is horrible. No Makers Mark. Looks like most of the bars just have Buffalo Trace and JT’s Brown. Looks like I may be a rum and tequila drinker all week.

It’s funny one minute I can’t get cruise critic to load and my pic uploads fail then the above post uploads no problem.

Shoulder is still pretty painful but I’m dealing with it. Linda is on me about wearing the sling because I don’t want to. Leaving hotel now.

No need to worry I would be horrible at it even with a good shoulder.

Listen to Linda and wear your sling !  Was your new iPhone delivered before you left ? Great review as always .

Listen to Linda! Wear your sling! And while I know you love ❤️ your bourbon, please go easy on it on this cruise.  You’re recovering from an injury right now so your body won’t handle alcohol 🥃 as well as it normally would. It’s focused on healing. I’m sure you don’t want to trip and fall on your already broken collarbone or your relatively recently replaced knee because your adult beverages caught up with you faster than they usually would. I’m not saying don’t enjoy yourself, just keep your injury in mind while you’re enjoying.

Linda and talked about this and yes you are right. I need to take it easy on all accounts and let my body heal. It doesn’t hurt in the sling sitting down. But boy when I try and take my shirt off, not fun. I was planning on hitting the gym everyday on this cruise, not now. Thank you for your advice and concern.

Well I feel stupid and NO I was not drunk. So because of the long drive I did not take my blood pressure medicine because it has a diuretic in it and did not want to have to go to the bathroom every 30 minutes. I also did not drink any water. So when I got up to go to the bathroom I got up too quickly felt dizzy and fell. I must have hit my head because I asked Linda where were we. So a trip to the ER for a Cat Scan, blood work, and shoulder x-ray. Needless to say everything looked good except to have a hairline fracture in my collarbone. So I guess slings are sexy looking on a cruise  ship. I feel stupid that it happened. Doc said make sure you take your meds.

Oh no! Sorry to hear this happened.

7am and I’m wide awake. I slept pretty good considering if I move too much my shoulder really hurts. A couple of weird things to share. When I fainted or blacked out (can’t remember) obviously I hit the floor pretty hard resulting in a trip to the ER and a broken collarbone. Weird thing is one of toes is black and blue. Sorry for the gross pic.

and I have a small cut on the side of my head.

This explains why the ER doc wanted to do a Cat Scan of my head to make sure there was no bleeding on the brain. I know kinda scary. I feel very fortunate it could have been way worse. I have no idea why my toe is this way or what I might have cut my head on. Linda made the right call after I came to and did not know where I was and what we were doing to go to the ER. Thank God I gave good insurance. Can you imagine the cost if this happened on the ship?

Current position at 18.5 knots. Looks like it’s going to be a beautiful sea day.

Sail Away Video. Here is our sail away video shot on the new Go Pro 11 Hero. Shot in 4K and edited through the GoPro app. I’ll try to post the original longer video if I can get it uploaded. Keeps stalling out. Come on Star Link.

Don't get too excited, Freedom was like that till the "normal" throttling was implemented - seems that they are still testing.

One minute everything is great and one minute stuff stalls out. I think you are right in that they are still testing. I will say anything is an improvement.

I know you are likely still so sore, but I hope that you are feeling a bit better 🤕

Still very painful if I move my arm around. As long as I'm in the sling it's not too bad. Thanks for your concern.
