That could be a good use for it - though I'd rather not be a walking ad for Carnival (nor any cruise line)! 🙂

looks like you can easily take the logo patch off if you want...

Will we still have to go down to the Pixels gallery to pick it up or will it be in our cabins?

I doubt these things will ever be delivered to us automatically again.

The one past gift we ever really got any use out of were the Tervis tumblers.

Still using mine at work as I type. Before that they gave really nice Carnival tote bags that we still carry on cruises with us.

Those were sturdy - I carried our Starmate Sirius radio in that - fit perfectly !

I think you are 100 percent correct. I can understand from Carnival's point of view the logistics of room delivery is much more of a hassle than making us go on a scavenger hunt. My only hope is they keep the 25 dollar casino credit instead of the BOGO tournaments.

Cool, we’ll become Platinum 4/2/2023 on Spirit 6 night.

Don't hold your breath.  We got off of the Valor last Thursday and received absolutely nothing.  This was our 13th cruise with Carnival and did not receive so much as a pin.  We did get to board and disembark early and went to the Platinum/Diamond party, but no gift.

It also insures that they will only be giving them to the people that actually want them.  I am sure before the "scavenger hunt", hundreds of those things went straight into the garbage every cruise.

Did you ask about the gifts and pins at Pixels?  Nothing has been delivered to the room since the restart.

I always stop by Pixels to get our pins, wish they’d have ship specific pins instead of generic Carnival/VIFP pins.

Yep - that kind of takes some of the point out of collecting them.

About the only thing I collect any more are our ship cards. I've given away (friends or Goodwill) all the other stuff, including my John Heald bobble head.  🙂

We were getting off the Saturday you got on.  We got the koozies and our pins, but you go to the pixels gallery to pick them up.  They aren't delivered to your room.  We also received the large bottles of water available at any bar.

Our pins last week on Valor were ship specific

Yeah, each ship had to use up their supply of generic pins. Got the “Back To Fun” pins after the restart and then the “VIFP” pins. We were on Valor B2B 7/25-8/4/2022, would have loved the pin you got. Not to mention: Sunshine12/26/2021; Vista 3/25; and Celebration 12/19/2022. I’m not complaining though, just would prefer something to show I hit that ship.

I just want to say they're being pretty broad with the term "luggage."

I don't think John ever called it luggage.  He just used the words set, or collection.  Luggage is just what the original poster used.
