Our boarding time was 11:30 to 12:00.  We were on the ship by 12:30.  Staterooms we’re not ready until 2:30.  There was a sign at guest services that the ship is full so there could not be any stateroom changes.

Because the rooms are ready on embarkation day the stateroom attendant will not be back in the evening. If you need anything you need to call housekeeping (which we did).

We didn’t have any wait times in getting seated/served in the dining room for lunch or with getting a drink at a bar.  There were also plenty of dining reservations available throughout the week for specialty dining at good times.   I didn’t book ahead as online was only giving me 9:30 on.

Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll try to answer them.

when we were on the Joy the TV's near the elevators were not working for reservations. Do you know if the Headliners Comedy Club was open and taking reservations?

Hope you have a great cruise on the Breakaway!  I'll be following you this week and am interested in your thoughts on the cruise.

One question for you - last time we were on the Breakaway we spent a lot of time in Shakers listening to the music.  Who is the Entertainer/Guitarist on the Breakaway this week?  We just want to plan our time!!

Thank you so much for posting. We are on the Breakaway in 4 days! If you have a second could you ask where the Superbowl will be shown on the ship? (Specifically, we are hoping Atrium/O'Sheehans).  Thank you!

It should be shown in various places including the Spice H2O, the Atrium, O'Sheehan's and probably on the TV in your cabin.

I wanted to be prepared specifically because someone posted this on a FB group yesterday. We are from the Philly area, so its very important to my family (specifically 2 adult stepsons). Does anyone have any info/insight on the post from FB? image.png.db3e8521837810940cb1e39ac43d09f1.png

Lets think about that.  Superbowl kickoff is scheduled for 1730 Central.  Breakaway departs NOLA at approximately 1600 hours Central.  Breakaway won't reach the mouth of the Mississippi until after midnight.  If being in international waters is a requirement, then you can watch reruns after midnight.

Perhaps Breakaway won't show the game until after Breakaway departs NOLA.  But since Breakaway departs an hour and a half prior to kickoff....  Maybe the requirement is to be away from the dock???

I was thinking it maybe "away from dock" requirement (same as casino?). I had googled how long it takes to get into international waters from NOLA pier and got a little worried. We definitely want to watch it live. I didn't know if anyone else had any other insight/info/thoughts. Thank you for your thoughts!

I can say i was on the Breakaway for the playoffs a few years ago and the games was absolutely on while docked and while we left. I am sure they will have the game on

We are going to be on the Breakaway on 2/19 sailing.  I'm trying to find out if I could use onboard credit to purchase the Free at Sea Plus package while onboard.  Do you know if they were offering it on embarkation day?  Or would you be willing to go to guest services and ask if it's possible to purchase?
