According to Brisbane Cruise Terminal website.
Royal Caribbean arrives in Brisbane 23 October 2025 and departs 03 April 2026.
Plenty of the usual Friday bookings.
Some 3 and 4 nighters
Quantum Of The Seas is the ship.

Didn’t someone say Anthem was replacing Quantum?

No bookings in Honolulu yet.

I thought Anthem was replacing Ovation!

Chilli Ovation is due for 10 year dry Easter 2026.

Someone here said Quantum was going to Asia,I think it was @Jumping Cruiser ?

Not sure? My dementia might be kicking in there.

But I think we will probably end up with 3 quantum in Oz as china is becoming a basket case

According to Anthem’s Captain Srecko, she will be in Australia after Alaska in 2025. Also, only Ovation has a TP up for sale in April 25, which makes this look like she will indeed replace Quantum for the summer season.

Historically, the ships positioned in Alaska go to Australia for Winter, usually Ovation and Quantum. If Anthem is replacing Quantum in Alaska, I would like to think that she would also replace Quantum in Australia. (Port bookings may just be placeholders)

However, Royal would still need an additional QC for the Asian market when Anthem leaves, which is where Quantum will come in, especially since she is well orientated to that region. My ‘guess’ is that she will head to Asia from Australia in April 25.

This is all based though on the idea that Anthem is going to Alaska. Things may have changed since he told me a couple of months back.

I think Ovation will have her dry dock (in Singapore?) after the Australia season 25/26 has ended, presumably going to Alaska or Asia afterwards.

Can Icon of the Seas berth at the all Oasis  Class ports?

Has anyone know of any Icon can’t visit?

Despite weighting 14000 tonnes more, Icon is only 3m longer than Oasis. I presume this means that any Oasis ports could also handle Icon. The only thing that may affect it is the depth of the hull, which I don’t think has been confirmed yet (?), but again I would imagine this to be very similar to OC.

Odyssey's two January/one February stops are in-line with her running the Cape Liberty winter schedule, with the longer January cruises.

Definitely! She is expected to return to NJ for Winter 25/26, based on a WB TA Port booking with destination marked as Cape Liberty.

The gross tonnage is not a weight, but a measure of internal volume.

They just added 15k more gross tons of inside space to Icon, even though the ship dimensions aren't much different than Oasis ships. I would imagine Icon can go anywhere Oasis can go.

As long as there’s ship LNG available. I think it will prove to be a bit of a handicap in the future , the next generation container ship will run on just about anything.

Well yeah, that aside. But the size of Icon won't be an issue. Availability of LNG, definitely.

I'm going to assume that one will be homeported year round in Baltimore, MD ... unless RCI decides to abandon the port.

Why would they abandon it?  They have been there for years and it's done well for them.
