New 2026 Itineries

Recommended Posts

I went through the first few pages of the O thread and didn’t find the date that the new itineraries will be available.  I know it’s in there somewhere but may take a while to scroll through to find the topic.

Will someone post the date that they will be available for viewing?

Our OCA said that the itineraries would be available for viewing on April 10 and available for booking April 17.

Oops! Excuse me. They are now called Future Cruise Specialists FCS. OCA are no more.

Yes - a small but telling change - basically going from service to sales. I don’t like it.

Can you post the PDF of the itineraries on the social media site.  No social media here.

A pdf file can be posted here. First download the file, and then okay to post here……

It would appear that Europe is still being finalized (or just not all included in the brochure) as there are only 6 cruises showing for Europe and under the Europe section it states European Preview.

I looked up the brochure briefly. Unfortunately, didn’t see any new itineraries interested to us. We have already been to most of the ports. I saw very few new ports with the exception of Japan, probably. It looks like Oceania took its course to make the line attractive to the new customers, rather than keeping those who’ve been sailing with them for a long time by offering new destinations and port of calls.

We love cruising but definitely will start looking more at the land tours to the new places with the opportunity to spend more time at the destination.

Thank you for this.  Much appreciated.

As for the limited listing for European cruises,  that section is labeled "2026 Europe Preview".  This is similar to what they have done with previous versions of the Tropics & Exotics brochure.

I found a brochure I had that is labeled "Tropics & Exotics Plus Europe and North America"  but I'm not sure when it came out in relation to the "Tropics & Exotics" brochure.

Knowing Oceania, I am sure there will be more brochures coming 🤣

Also not sure if this is a complete list of Transatlantics.

I have noticed gaps in the itineraries offered.  Not sure if they are charters (this far out) or just an incomplete schedule.

We and numerous friends who are travelers like us have eliminated cruising from our 5 year travel planning. No one has a cruise booked. In the event, there is something new destination wise, we all check CC, hence why I am posting on this thread.

Been there and done that and cruising is superficial at best. Same old and repeat and repeat.

But we are all now deep diving into land tours - Trafalgar, Globus and Viatour. Also supplement using private guides and vehicles depending upon the location. The driver is to see the detail, be challenged in each location, eat local foods.

Oceania lost all of us due to their forced Simply M decision.

Please do check out land travel as well as driving trips!

Safe travels.

That's always been the 'driver' for taking the 'deep dive' into traveling IMNTBHO. Have always felt that cruising is a great way to 'superficially' discover many places in a short window of time. If you see something you like, then ideally, plan a land trip back there and truly experience the place. As much as we love cruising, we've enjoyed our land trips as well. To conflate the two beyond that is pointless. And FWIW, in taking a cursory look at the new itineraries, it does appear that there are some new ports offered. (One that jumped out is Devil's Island, French Guiana. Never thought I'd see it on an O itinerary. We were there many years ago on an R ship with Princess. Will never forget it. Fascinating!)

We did 2 land tours with Gate1. While it does have its advantages, but packing/unpacking every 2-3 days plus spending 3-5 hours driving every other day more or less is just not our cup of tea. There are always cruises with extended stays, overnights etc. that allow you to deep diving. And if we really like a place - we just come back and see it from a different angle.

While we don't drink and prefer private tours, SM doesn't really change the big picture for us. We still like O, but we also try other lines. We also check river cruises.
