  1. It's kind of like a rum punch. Very fruity and somewhat sweet. It's a tradition when sailing Carnival to get a Funship Special. They are very good.
  2. It is indeed $5/person for the entire cruise, and no you don't need an internet package to access texting on the hub app. We buy it for every cruise, but rarely use it. Just for peace of mind.
  3. I agree. I've heard they did away with that several years ago.
  4. Absolutely! You see them alllll over the ship!
  5. My theory is that cruisers that have never sailed before with Carnival will flock to what ships make the most fiscal sense to them....not knowing any better. I know we did back in 2019. And I thought we got a great deal...not knowing any better. I think that mindset with new cruisers prevail. And all of those multitude cruisers will be happy cruising with Carnival. Just my opinion.
  6. Woah Nellie! For once I agree with everything you say! BUT......BUT.... the consumers pushing back will result in Carnival saying: "go ahead. If you don't like what we are offering, please be so kind as to shop somewhere else." And the demand is so great, there will by 4 or 5 people to take your place. Basic economics 103 in high demand times. Just my opinion.
  7. Phew. That's quite an attractive offer. Congratulations on getting it. There's no way around getting that incredible offer....But.....But...I don't know if I could handle an inside cabin. I'm used to waking up and seeing the wide open spaces. And I most certainly LOVE waking up, and walking directly to the balcony to see the sunrise and looking out onto the vast unencumbered ocean view . For me, there's something magical about getting up around 6am and walking directly out to the balcony. That affirms my faith, but that's just me. With all of that said, if your husband warmed up to the notion of you inside cabin deal at that price, I think I'd take it.....maybe. A tough decision to be sure. To give you some kind of reference point, we are sailing on the Dream on an 8 day Eastern Caribbean departing Sept. 24, returning Oct. 2. We have a balcony cabin on deck 8., all in, including gratuities for $1,363.56. I think this is a pretty good deal.....if not, PLEASE give me the consideration of not mentioning what a foolish deal this is, in your opinion. What ever direction you go in, I hope you have a GREAT time. The Dream holds a dear spot in our heart, as we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on her.
  8. It's good to see you back! I look forward to your review(s)! πŸ‘
  9. There was a balcony light on our Dream & Vista cruise for sure. Can't comment on any other ships in the fleet.
  10. Thanks for posting! If we ever make it to A.C. that's where I want to go! πŸ‘
  11. That was a great episode! I love the "Cars That Built America". I love that whole series..."that built America."
  12. You really don't "redeem" them. You go to Guest Services and have that Gift Card applied to your Sail & Sign Account. I've heard that there are kiosks that are automated, and can perform that task. But I've never tried it. I always go to G.S. to have it done.
  13. It should be! It's been beaten to death many times over.
  14. IMHO, The stock broke the $10.00 psychological barrier, and it closed today at $11.19, a gain of 4.48%.
  15. Fried jalapenos slices. My wife would say, fried okra.
  16. I'm getting into the habit checking in daily. You get 50 points just for logging on. I played the 'instant win' games today and made off with 150 points total. I'm not complaining. πŸ‘
  17. Now that was an "Off The Wall" comment!
  18. No, unfortunately. Only Carnival Cruise Lines.
  19. It's under your Cruise Planner. Mine is still there.
