Not sure a surgical mask will do anything but have you breathing your own hot air.....it doesn't filter out the bad stuff in the smoke....

How would a surgical mask do anything against smoke? All that will be accomplished is that you'll now be breathing in hot smoke. Also, if you are that sensitive to it that you cannot even walk through without wearing a mask, why do you walk through the casino? Sorry if its coming out in a combative way, its not my intention, im just curious.

If you don't play in the casino why go there? If the smoke bothers you so much just find alternative routes for where you are going and avoid it. Simple enough...

Is it really that bad? just walking through the casino requires that a mask is needed? I never seem to notice. I just keep walking through. These casinos are not the giants you find in Vegas. Its a very short walk from one end to the other.

The casino is not that big, you could probably hold your breath from one end to the other, curious though......do you also wear masks poolside when smokers are out there too ?

I usually walk on the outside open area (same deck as casino) whenever I need to get to the other end of the ship and avoid going through casino

OK, I get it now: the post is an homage to Walter White, Jesse Pinkman, and the 10th anniversary of Breaking Bad.

Just wrap a damp pool towel around your face while going thru the casino. Just remember to turn it in before 10pm on the 2nd to last night of the cruise or you will be charged $25. :)

Plus, the nice pale blue pool towels are a stunning fashion statement. :)

Gosh, you sure are pleasant. Why walk through it if you don't want to be in it? It's pretty easy to avoid.

Just to have something to complain about. Like those that purposely walk through the smoking side of the pool deck with their shirts up over their face, wildly waving their arms, and complaining loudly. They put on a good show but I think the mask would be some great indoor entertainment.

I'm currently debating bringing a mask on our cruise next weekend and only putting it on around non-smokers. Like make a big deal about taking it off as soon as I get into the smokey casino and take a big deep breath. Someone lights up on the pool deck I'll take it off and thank the person. :)
