Received the following offer from Princess today. We took it!

Golden, 6/2, 7 day, obstructed OV, $249, Window Suite; we retained all perks from original booking.

Funny thing was, it ended up costing us only $456, because when he did the change, he said we were owed some credits for taxes we overpaid. Not sure how that happened but I didn't question him. We received paid gratuities on our original booking and he adjusted paid gratuities to the new amount for the suite. All in all, very happy with our upsell. Alaska here we come!

the credit was from port taxes, etc. where you paid an estimated amount and it was finalized..

if you hadn't changed rooms, it would have shown up as an OBC to your account

Nice. $35 pp per diem bought you all the suite perks, club class dining, and a whole lot more space. Enjoy!

Seriously? You just booked that & it's so far off ~ can't imagine they need that cabin already!

On my Alaska cruise on Star leaving on 5/26 they offered an upsell last month of $249 pp for an oceanview to balcony. They STILL have balconies available and have not budged on the $249 pp. We leave in three days.

Very nice upsell! I would've jumped on it as well. We're sailing in an obstructed OV at the end of June on the CB - would love an offer like this!!!

Star Princess June 2018 balcony to mini suite $99pp... but there are five of us in two cabins and there are no mini suite pairs next to each other left on the cruise, so doesn't work. Nice to get the offer though!

Don’t know if appropriate to post Move over offers here, we received one yesterday for June 6 Royal (British Isles). Move to any other 12 day sailing anywhere, full refund of fare as refundable OBC, cabin upgrade, EZAir protected and up to $500 for non refundable deposits etc.

NOW that sounds like a suite deal! I was thinking $400pp for a one day cruise was a bit much;p

Just received a upsell for July 21/18, 7 day Norwegian Fjords (sold out cruise) balcony to mini suite for $119US/pp. I declined as I have an aft balcony.

RT SF Alaska 10 days. 6-25-18 sailing. Ocean View Plaza Deck to Aloha balcony below Horizon Court. $239 pp. Declined offer. There are almost 30 open cabins Aloha aft!!

Caribbean Princess sailing on a B2B starting June 23 (7 days each leg) in an Obstructed Ocean View (OW) - Got the offer for an upsell of $229pp to move to a Window Suite for the June 23rd sailing. When I talked to them, they said they could offer the same deal for both sailings! So, for less than $1,000 (increase to protection plan with this), we get to move from the OW to the Window Suite for 14 days!! No room change in transit & we got the suite!! :cool:

I have a mini on the 16th and am hoping for a move to a window but it seems they usually offer those to people with Ocean Views since they're not expecting a balcony. They could at least ask!

Awesome! I'm on the 1st week of that cruise. I haven't received an upsell yet but I'm in a balcony on the Caribe deck so doubtful I'd take one anyway (but always like to see the offering because I may!)

6/30 Caribbean Princess -upgraded to Caribe balcony from Baja at no charge then offered upgrade to mini-suite at $159 pp.
