Any cons staying on Lido deck? (Breeze)

What about getting sea sick? In terms of motion of the ship so high up? Thanks for the post. I am debating booking a cabin on the Lido deck.

We had our first lido or actually cabin on deck 11 in a spa balcony, and there was more movement in that area for sure. We did enjoy the closeness to the lido, serenity and spa area though. Guess you need to weigh pros and cons and depending if you are susceptible to any motion sickness.

That was my first thought.

Awesome. We have our first Lido cabins booked on Magic, so it's great to hear it was a good choice! Figured the kids club is right above, glass elevators right there, food, bars, etc. Seemed like a perfect location.

Why are there cons on lido? I didn't think that they were allowed to leave the country.

They left on Con Air... headed to Vegas.

To the OP, there are zero negatives and the motion of the ship is virtually no different from the lower level balcony cabins.

As others have stated, it's a delight to walk right out of the cabin to the pool, casual food, frozen yogurt and be only a stair climb from the gym.

I agree with the others -- no cons at all! We loved our lido balcony cabin on the Breeze and had no problems with seasickness. I had been worried that there might be more noise and foot traffic around our cabin but this turned out not to be the case at all. It was fine.

Enjoy your cruise!

I'm booked into a lido deck cabin on the Breeze.

However have anyone experienced any cons staying on this deck?

I know the pros are easy access to the pool and food without using an elevator ;p

We sailed on the Breeze is room 10248.

Very quiet room and enjoyable trip.

We always stay on the Lido. I will say if you are sailing in weather I have noticed more motion than on even decks 9, 8 or 7.

In November we had two nights that were very rocky. One of the only times I’ve ever had to take Dramamine. But I did sleep well. [emoji6]

I tried snagging one for my March 2019 cruise on the Breeze, but they were sold out, even though I booked that cruise 14 months ahead! I was shocked! I really wanted a Lido inside cabin, but ended up with one on deck 8.

Today a mid-ship cabin opened up on Deck 6. It seems to be over a group of sofas and chairs before you get to the Alchemy Lounge. It is almost exactly between the Mid Ship elevators and the Aft Ones. I think the ship is about sold out.

I asked about the Lido cabins. I was told they were not open for sale. We have a casino offer, not one of the big ones, but one we are happy to have and I think it is tied to that.

But I am happy and relieved.

We were in 10267 (CAT 8F) on the Breeze in January. It was horrible. The noise from the music and parties held in the Atrium just funneled straight up and into the cabins near the open atrium. It went on most nights until around 1am. Then, the ding, ding, ding of the elevator drove us nuts the rest of the night.

Do yourself a favor and makes sure you are around 10248 or 10249 or forward of that.

Also, the cabins that are very close to the exit to the pool area are noisy. We previously stayed in 10287 and we could hear everything that was going on around the pool on our balcony and in our cabin if people failed to close the door to the hallway. The nights there were deck parties were the worst. When I wanted some quiet time on my balcony to read in the afternoons I was driven inside by the DJ and his loud music.

Our favorite cabin on the Breeze is cabin 12009 CAT 8S. There are only a handful of cabins on that hallway and there are no inside cabins across from you. No door slamming! Quietest cabin we've ever had.
