Wonder if the ones luggage leaving the ship were thrown off for not attending Life Boat Drill?? Joanie

Seago2 Posted March 18, 2012 #104 Share Posted March 18, 2012 The missing people on the Westerdam Muster. I'm sure they are saying through ignorance that no one will check if we don't show up. Obviously, not members of Cruise Critic. I had a Cruise Critic hat and shirt on during our last NA Muster Drill and the guy next to me asked "Is that some kind of joke!" I used to talk to people about CC all the time. Now- never, unless they see my lanyard and ask. I just feel so silly talking about it. Who knows. mamaofami Posted March 18, 2012 #105 Share Posted March 18, 2012 The cam has been focusing on Solstice so I think she might be next. But, there is definitely smoke coming from the Westerdam's stacks.

aliaschief Posted March 18, 2012 Author #111 Share Posted March 18, 2012 Did you explain about Cruise Critic to him? I got a Duh after explaining the site was owned by Trip Advisor etc. Take a private poll on your next cruise and you will find out that many and sometimes a majority have no idea about Cruise Critic. Rare kazu Posted March 18, 2012 #113 Share Posted March 18, 2012 From the funnel smoke shots, it appears Westerdam is running up. I think you're right - she's moving at .01 knots versus everyone's nothing. All right:):):)

aliaschief Posted March 18, 2012 Author #115 Share Posted March 18, 2012 When the Champ Westerdam sails out today it would be appropriate to do away with the steel drum music and play the theme from "Rocky.";)
mamaofami Posted March 18, 2012 #116 Share Posted March 18, 2012 Solstice is moving and I'm getting impatient. My kids went for a nature walk, and my son in law is watching TV and I'm sure he thinks I'm nuts.

All right:):):) You can never count on that 0.1 knots. My experience it is just a deviation. 0.2-0.3 than something might be happening.

WackyWayne Posted March 18, 2012 #124 Share Posted March 18, 2012 Why does the Solstice look so hazy? Is their balcony glass hazy? Or are those ocean view rooms not balconies?
kickboxrca Posted March 18, 2012 #125 Share Posted March 18, 2012 We're fortunate in Calgary - its only 2:30 here. And as far as TV goes, we watch the sail away on the big screen. Hoping for some great horns today!! --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?l24cun
