firemanbobswife Posted January 23, 2014 #28 Share Posted January 23, 2014 I have only sailed Carnival and Celebrity, but the three things that I like about Carnival that are different from Celebrity are: 1. Price 2. My huge and favorite stateroom 2470 3. Chocolate Melting Cake :D

hagges Posted January 23, 2014 #32 Share Posted January 23, 2014 Great question! Internal struggle with my Carnival loyalty as I am considering booking another line for a Southern Carib cruise Feb 2015. Haven't slept well the past few nights. 1. Price 2. Comedy shows (love them) 3. Lido deck atmosphere

Carnival cabins are spacious -even Insides! tried any of the others? :D 4. They are fun ships, even if the shows in the lounge ARE lacking these days. 5. I can board ship at the Port ten minutes away from my house. Beat that. .
ready2cruzagain Posted January 23, 2014 #37 Share Posted January 23, 2014 Can't say that I am loyal to just one cruise line. I go for the price, itinerary and length. Carnival wins on price most of the time, therefore, we have sailed on Carnival more.
Captain Carnival Posted January 23, 2014 #38 Share Posted January 23, 2014 1. Biggest Bang for the Buck. 2. Largest Fleet in the Cruise Industry. 3. Fun Destinations, Staff, Crew, Guests....and NO CRUISE SNOBS!
put me on a ship Posted January 23, 2014 #39 Share Posted January 23, 2014 Not sure we are "loyal" to any cruise line, but Carnival does give us a good cruise, for the best price, most of the time. NCL does too! Anyway, here are the reasons we choose Carnival: 1. price 2. convenience (they offer the best variety out of Florida year-round) 3. they handled a very difficult situation very well, for us. For that, we will always have a "soft spot" for Carnival.
Ilovesailaway Posted January 23, 2014 #40 Share Posted January 23, 2014 1. Lower price / We cruise as a family of 5. We book 2 balcony rooms. 2. Camp Carnival and water slides / Our 3 boys love this. Because they do it allows a lot of time for my DW and I to enjoy our vacation. Those are the primary reasons Carnival is always considered when we book a family cruise. We have also sailed NCL Epic as a family and the kids loved it. As the kids get older DW and I can start looking at other options because price and water slides wont be as important. 5Hawkeyes Posted January 23, 2014 #41 Share Posted January 23, 2014 1. The food has always been excellant and plenty of choices 2. The staff has always been great!!! 3. It's just our kind of fun. Never a dull moment on a Carnival cruise. We sailed on Disney and we are Disney fanatics, but there just wasn't that same fun vibe we've had on our Carnival cruises. And my opinion is the food on Carnival was better and more choices than with Disney. We did like the soda stations on Disney though. Especially for the kids. Aplmac Posted January 23, 2014 #43 Share Posted January 23, 2014 3. Fun Destinations, Staff, Crew, Guests....and NO CRUISE SNOBS! Funny you should mention that..because I've always thought I'd never cruise on Cunard - or on the UK line P&O -because of the lah-de-dah bit. Okay maybe if it was a freebie for some crazy reason and even so I suspect that wouldn't make me go back for more. .

wb3690 Posted January 23, 2014 #48 Share Posted January 23, 2014 I think the Value of the vacation. We're only taking our 2nd cruise in March and am so mad I never realized how affordable these vacations really were! We had fun on our last one and as long as Carnival keeps the itineraries I want then I'll remain a loyal customer!
cruisinbabs Posted January 23, 2014 #49 Share Posted January 23, 2014 (edited) My main 3 reasons.. 1)What me and the hubs can afford and get to see amazing places! 2)I have ALWAYS had a great time.. I am not hard to please.. I am on a cruise for pete's sake!!! (while other people are stuck at work when I am gone.. lol) 3)The people I have met on the ship that share my same obsession for cruising.. I still talk to people I have met (prior to knowing about CC).. Also I am still in contact with some people from my cruise in 2009. Its just awesome.:D Edited January 23, 2014 by cruisinbabs
